Peethala Murthy yadav, 22nd ward corporator , visakhapatnam was the one who intially opposed the rushikonda palace and fought a long court case in high court in vijayawada with his own finances. He got a stay order and attended all court hearings himself, due to which mr. Jagan reddy couldnot stay at the palace as he said vizag would be the capital(which ycp never did). Even when murthy yadav and a senior counsel tried to enter the palace premises with court permission, an FIR was registered against them and police stopped them .now the palace is in the open. Hats off to fearless leaders like murthy yadav who fought bravely inspite of many hinderances
