Oh my god, I was not expecting that to go on for so damn long 😂 I don't watch movies in theaters too often, so I didn't know this commercial was going to be part of the pre-rolls. With this commercial added, I swear it took about a half hour to get through everything before the movie started.

I work at an AMC. I’ve seen the unedited version of this so many times while cleaning theaters. And yes, many do come to get high. The Mario movie was especially bad with that.
While I definitely agree; sometimes, I almost feel like people miss the point of WHY Tidus laughs like that in the first place. He laughs like that; to calm Yuna down, but ends up going and laughing TOO hard, about it; but it's still one of those moments that went on a bit too long(in-game); but one of the best unexpected overly long laughs; in games; and it lead to being remembered as one of the best Final Fantasy games in its history because of a silly laugh. I hope the upcoming Final Fantasy 16(because I don't know how to write 16 in Roman numerals, sorry), has something as memorable.

It's an advertisement for their rewards program. But it goes on for an awfully long time. "You need this because going to the theater is such a great experience that you'll want to do it all the time"
I go to the movies all the time with my mom and we both get so annoyed by this trailer, so it always makes me laugh super hard whenever someone makes a joke out of it, so this was absolutely beautiful
There's something quite accursed about the way every mention of the word Movies brings with it that deep discordant tone. It's like seeing your old childhood friend come back to visit, only to sense that they brought something else with them; some Thing that you can only vaguely feel but never see, whose only clue to its existence is an inexplicable sense of otherness imparted on a person so familiar...or some shit equivalent

I don't see movies often (last time was January 2020 for Weathering With You, most recent was Suzume. Yeah, I'm a sucker for Makoto Shinkai, lol). Before watching Suzume, I saw this promo and never would I have imagined it would get a YTP 😂. Best part, said with a complete straight face: "Some of us need air. Not all of us. But some of us." That almost sounds like a threat 😂😂😂 Edit: Sorry, she finished off with saying, "Not all of us. Some of us need stories." But I think I like imagining the first scenario, lol.
Wow, how the timing of this couldn’t have been better; just got back from seeing a movie (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3) at the AMC nearest me, and lo and behold this is in my sub box Love it

I used to watch YTPs obsessively in middle and early high school in the early days of YTP. I just found this channel recently and it feels so good to literally laugh until I cry again. Just like the old times. Your whole channel is gold.
In the UK it's Odeon playing this ad. This exact same ad, just with a Find-Replace job switching AMC to Odeon. Thought it was odd Odeon would spend all that money on getting Nicole Kidman to do an ad for them - now it makes sense that they didn't actually have the ad made for them at all.
The Bowtie Cinema me and my best friend used to go to got bought out by AMC this year, so seeing this stupid trailer before every movie instead of just skipping to the goddamn movie makes me groan every time. But this makes it more tolerable. Thanks for giving me that describable feeling that I can feel 👍
