The period from 1:31-1:41, when it's mostly him saying "do not forget my name" while the audio and video get crudely distorted in a sinister way, has been one of my favorite 10 second periods on RU-vid for years. The artists gave it the devotion it deserved

I think my favorite part of this was the reanimated rap segment. I love CandleCorn making Jojvert pound the bread into dust to the beat and I enjoyed Slimeking Mike making JoJ Valjoj nod his head to the beat. Those are just two specific things I liked, but everyone else's made it great like Valjean DJing and breakdancing.

Something I just noticed about the reanimated rap segment is that the audio was completely remastered from the original. If you go back to the original video (not the side by side), you'll hear a different beat in the background. That means that if Ellie didn't have the project files from 10 years ago, she had to redo the voices of that entire segment.

I remember seeing the original in 2013 and it made me wanna cry laugh. One of my close friends unalived herself earlier that year and Les Mis was her all-time fave musical. So in 2013 I finally watched it, fell in love with it, and this was the first ytp of it I'd ever seen. I was in love. Forgot the channel existed till 2020.
