It just won't happen, there's a video from one or two years ago showing Biden completely flunking a shot and not even realizing the golf ball flew behind him instead of forward. But if it happened it would be funny to see Biden high on his son's special supply trying to play a game he has no ability on, against someone who regularly plays in tournaments

Wow, cool! I am a bit of a space science/earth science hobbyist-not an academic-but I love subjects dealing with geodesics and topology. I recently read that VLBI (very long baseline interferometry) is sometimes used as a tool of measurement in your field, which is super fun because I thought those fancy machines were just used for gravitational wave detection. Since learning about geodesics, I've always loved the concept-that a surface which appears wavy could actually have a line drawn on it which is 'geometrically straight' despite appearing wavy. I'm a simple man, so thinking about n-dimensional geometries always tickles me. I'm not sure I will be able to understand, but feel free to share anything cool about geodesy-I'm not very sure what the scope of that work includes but I bet there is something exciting in the work you do. It'd be fun to hear it!
@@crowlsyong I actually think you do understand quite a lot, potentially more than me. I'm in my second year of geodesy & geoinformatics to be specific, but considering to change towards something more geography-related (which still needs geoinformatics) such as transportation management, since actually geodesy is a bit too difficult for me with all the math and stuff - the technical concepts however (such as interferometry) are great. My practical knowledge is not very advanced though, so I don't feel like I can share much with you. We needed to learn normal land surveying, CAD etc. in the first place, of course already considering Earth's curvature and stuff, but not the measurements of planets or other large-scale things. That's done at the end of the 3-year bachelor and especially in the 2-year master which I am not expecting to enter (for the reasons mentioned above - apparently being more interested in cartography and other "simpler" things related to Earth). In other words, after the practical experience and seeing how difficult some of the theory is, I can imagine to work in some urban/engineering field, not with space :P I'm in awe though of people who finish those studies and make it to ESA/NASA/etc.
