Ok yeah I'm a little over 2 weeks late to the actual anniversary (April 12, 2009) because I haven't been on my PC in months lmao
Anyways, Deepercutt's Kung Fu Cutman is one of the absolute all-time classics from the olden days and I really wanted to try and reamster it for the modern era. I tried to use every sample used in the original video if I could find it, though not always in the same way - at least one is missing but sorting through 2 seasons of episodes looking for one specific clip of Mega Man getting blasted got real old real fast. I also chose to do the section that Deepercutt originally cut out due to their video editor crashing and losing all progress - I sat on it for a while, unsure what to do, before settling on a pretty basic MAD take, since we have no idea what it was originally going to be.
Hopefully you all enjoy it, and if Deepercutt ever sees this, I hope it gets your seal of approval. Thanks for creating one of the best YTPMVs of all time!
