I love how Yusei isn't afraid to throw down and get dirty if need be. I don't think either Atem or Jaden ever threw a single punch.

“You’ve sworn allegiance to magic glue” has to be one of the funniest lines I’ve ever heard

Now that is a true testament of skill, being able to use a deck that you have no experience with but also using effects that would've been detrimental to you on your opponent. Yusei certainly won my respect here.

5D's is argably the best among Yu-Gi-Oh! animated eras, turned attention to real life social issues such classicism, prison reform, poverty especially early on.

Yusei was willing to give his own life to save not only his friends but people he didn't even know. He's the best Yu-Gi-Oh! protagonist.

Even the weakest cards become powerful when Yusei uses them , which was apparent when he used Yanagi's treasure deck to defeat Tanner. He has the innate ability to turn what others view as weakness into a strength , and then use that strength to outduel and outsmart the opponent.

Yusei just floored the guy and he's like time to play a children's card game

One of the best Duels in the series. Good to see the Treasure cards are being printed soon.

I like Tanner’s full yokai-themed deck. Jiraigumo, Ushi-Oni, I’m sure it would be a really fun deck to explore further.

The 'Special Effect/Low Attack' Duels have always been great. So much more interesting than just 'summon bigger monster'. This duel and the one between Chazz and his brothers in GX are two of my favourites.

I think this 'treasure deck' was just a precursor to Zexal's "Chronomaly" monsters.

19:55-A little reminder, Cabara Stone is a monster that deals 1,000 points of damage to the controller when it's destroyed. But since he used Triangle O, Tanner takes 3,000 points of damage and Yusei doesn't.

The main reason Yanagi lost is because he didn’t have enough experience and knowledge of how his cards worked. He was strictly an amateur. When cards like his are in the hands of an expert like Yusei, they have the ability to win duels.

As of today, all of the rest of Yanagi's cards (save for the admittedly useless Equip Spell) are revealed to be coming out in Battles of Legend this year.

So happy that the Triangle O cards and deck is now possible to play IRL. The duel in this episode is awesome and the deck Yusei is just as cool.
