I actually like Z-Arcs voice. It reminds of Marik from Duel Monsters. Not every end villain needs the cliche overly deep voice like all the previous ones did.

Astrograph Sorcerer and ZARC's effect are op in the anime than in real life. Nowadays you can easily summon ZARC, even in one turn. There are now pendulum magicians that were treated as fusion, synchro,xyz and pendulum dragon
I think I know why the legacy characters isn’t the once in this show. So new watchers don’t have to watch the older shows to know them. It’s the same with the 2017 Pokémon movie, they didn’t include Misty or Brock so it can stand on it’s own.
I think it would be much more dramatic if Zarc said this before starting his duel against Aster and Sora "You pathetic worms, it's too late now. Only one will survive!"

They’re scripted or play so un-optimal if they just did basic communication this would’ve gone better for everyone. They genuinely could’ve won. Aster should’ve done dystopia no eff on summon, d soul hammer pop zero which pops infinity bc of zero leaving. Then end turn bc attacking darkwurm for the attack to get negated would be pointless. If sora didn’t play the way he did to futily remind yuya of old memories i’m thinking if he went frightfur sanctuary (as it treats them as frightfur monsters in the anime) he can then go frightfur fusion summoning frightfur wolf then perhaps w/ whatever else was in sora’s hand combo off & get more damage to ftk with. If zarc summons astorgraph then sora & aster can do the d hyper nova + Soras trap which pops all the cards he restores doing massive damage then sora can continue to ftk in battle phase.
So much this! Problem is the writers make the duelists handicapped in most scenarios. In VRAINS the writer said he legit had a hard time writing duels where the Salamangreat duelist loses because his deck is so powerful.
@@darkpaw1522damn shame too. I wish that the lancers and their Allie’s here could have fought Zarc and actually pressure him. Would make his claim of being the supreme king feel more earned.
It’s a pendulum monster in the tcg/ocg. However, it was an effect monster when it was first shown in the flashback. It was split into Timegazer and Stargazer, and was returned to its original form when Zarc took possession of Yuya
