This is my favorite episode to describe to people who aren't into the show. "Hey remember that time in yugioh GX when Chazz took love advice from Sonic the hedgehog and then brought about the apocalypse?"
I once had someone play grace char then pot of greed. Set a monster. Play card of sanctity. Set some facedowns. Then play card of demise. His turn went on for eternity.

Anybody else ever feel bad for Alexis sometimes? Pretty much half the guys she meets in the series become infatuated and obsessed with her to the point of DEMANDING she be their girlfriend. She probably hangs out with Zane and Jaden so much because they're some of the few guys she knows who aren't constantly trying to hump her leg like a dog in heat.
Yeah, like that Rosewood guy, he should have gotten beaten up, same with that Pierre fella. But, I'm thinking of writing a crossover between Yu-Gi-Oh GX and a very obscure fighting game franchise, Bloody Roar. And some of the best known characters from this series I will reimagine as Zoanthropes.
I mean.. you know that's not the reason in the slightest right? Just happens to like their personality, which *happens* to not be flirtatious And besides the onl.. well, not only, one of the main reasons she never dates anyone or so much as humours their flirtation is because she's crushing on Jaden and had been since day one (although she'd never admit it to herself or anyone else) - it's clear as day (especially when Jaden's struggling a few episodes earlier and she almost has the bravery to say it), and in the follow up material to their 3 years at duel academy and 3 seasons of the show, they do actually end up getting together - absence makes the heart grow fonder etc
@kollie79 Jaden and Chazz are completely different. Jaden is happy in general, but in every next episode Jaden becomes darker. Completely the opposite with Chazz. In the end of GX he becomes second version of Jaden. So they are the most interesting ones.
Man, I wish they followed up more on Prof. Banner. What a great character. Gonna miss him. He was the only prof who cared about the slifers and didn’t treat them like trash in the beginning

It's not really a filler if it connects to the story. In this case, the spirit keys being able to work which... progresses the story. It's happening because they were taken because he's in love with her... duel happens...etc
start of the episode implies it's trauma after both seeing her practically lifeless and being basically dead himself after the seventh shadow rider - ptsd, can't blame him, as painful as it is to watch
Absolutely adore Alexis, as a person, not an object One of my favourite moments about her has to be when Jaden was struggling on the cliffside a few episodes back, thinking about things Almost confessing to him and even despite that just being a good friend and person, she's someone to look up to
@@scarlightemperor3410 Honestly, more than any other Yugioh series, GX would be massively improved as an ensemble. Imagine if we replaced all the really pointless episodes in season 1 where Jaden duels a villain of the week with strong character-focused episodes like The New Chazz or Formula for Success.
If Chazz dueled the way he usually does he would've actually won a date with his crush Alexis , he made a mistake following Atticus advice on simping with these love cards , dueling is all about the brain .
@@tungvo8534 Out of the entire GX series. I really wanted Chazz to have Armed Dragon Catapult Cannon in his deck. Since his deck is mainly Ojama/Armed Dragon/VWXYZ. But we never got to see it. Such a bummer. That’s an ace monster.
@@tungvo8534 I know right. And I was also hoping Konami was to create an Ojama/Armed Dragon/VWXYZ combined fusion monster. Instead of just Armed Dragon Lv7 and VWXYZ Dragon Catapult Cannon as a fusion. That would’ve been the real ace monster of Chazz’s deck.
Rafel's Guardian cards were heavily worn from his time stranded. Makes me wonder if the KC-Issue Duel Disks can even read those cards (I'm sure the Chaos Duel Disks can, considering they're more supernatural-based in a way)
@@Mordecrox Heishin from Forbidden Memories?! I remember playing that game and saw what cards he had in the beginning. So ridiculous! Plus, he reminds of Jafar from Aladdin... Weevil deserved that after getting rid of Yugi's Exodia cards, cheating with Joey in Battle City and tricking Atem.
@@Matt-Rat Jon-oh does some monotype challenges and adds some fun editing to make it more fun, the mono zombie was during Halloween so most characters got a costume. Heishin is so Jafar that he was just dyed black and red and still most didn't notice any difference even when his scepter was changed to match.

For the Longest time I was wondering where that was from. I just never knew that was from Yu-gi-oh because the Trap Card Portion was cut off. Such a great meme.
Alexis is like an antithesis character to the bechdel test 😂. Every scene with her is tied to SOME guy in the series. Like I know she had female friends but they literally contribute nothing to her stories
Moral of the story? You can't neither win a girl's heart by force (Chazz) or (this one can happen time to time, but not that usually) try become a boyfriend after a huge time being just cordial friends (Zane - yeah, did you notice that he was trying to get the puh in the lighthouse?). So, how can you (usually) make a girl fall for you? Don't try too hard and seem like you don't really care that much if you do or do not get the puh (Jaden). Guess who's the one she likes?! Either that, or it was just love at first sigth with Jaden! xD It's quite true story, if girls likes you a little bit, if they notice that you don't really are that focused in them, they will try get your attention...well...seems like it's the same for guys...usually we like and pursue the girls who hardly notice us aswell. It's kind a psychological thing of us humans i guess...wanting more the things that are harder to have.
@@jvam16 I have seen that too. Besides, the physical and mental attributes and popularity, girls like uncertainty and mystery. I think they like not being sure if they are reciprocated and as you say they try to get the attention of the boys. And they don't like when somebody show a lot of interest in them, because I think that bores them. I think that is human behavior.
@@metaleyes1191 Yes, like i said...people tend to want what is harder to reach. It's a human mindset. Although i will say that it's possible love come in all forms too. It can happen from a friendship...you only need not act like a gay friend and mantain some sexual tension there.
Seems like everyone wanted a piece of that ass, except the one guy who could probably get it if he tried. I wonder how many times Alexis has wanted Jaden to look at her like he looks at his Elemental Hero cards.
