Honestly its kinda mind boggling to me they didn't program basic logic for the computer to identify that a card has much more DEF than ATK so it should stay in that battle position, considering thats like, yugioh 101. I know these games are old, but they would have the long since had the experience to consider that. I feel like for these two first TD games, it wasn't made by devs who actually play the card game. They were just given the rules of the game and told to follow them.

When the clock tower goes beyond 4 ticks you receive no battle damage hence why they didn’t attack.
