I take that you're 15, but this game is a disappointment. The graphics card has potential to render 3D visuals but really is simple. It feels like playing on an android. Nothing special.
Джинзó Аркайдия actually I’ve played the original and I’ve enjoyed the game for what it is, card games don’t have to be so flashy and high graphics. As long as it plays like a true Yugioh Card game then that’s the main thing. You can feel disappointed if that’s how you feel but there’s no need for you to be rude towards someone who is excited for this game, change how you interact with others dude.
@@craftergamer9058 Okay, this is what I am saying. The Game Devs did not put enough effort to make the gameplay different than its previous platforms. I played Duel Links on Android and watching people play Legacy Duelist Link feels just exactly like that. Summoning animations when D. Magician or B.E.W.D gets summoned is all copy-and-paste just feels like "Oh. So what's new", and the UI design looks too simple compared to YUGIOH 5D's. This is my opinion and just reacting to Lynk Cable's reaction of the game. Not pushing him around or cyber-bullying. I am not throwing a temper tamptrum, but saying the rational.
I've been playing the game on and off since release. I'm currently on the battle city arc. My biggest complaint is probably the fact that it forces the new ruleset on you with the extra monster zone for all of the prior series. I'd much rather allow for some kind of a toggle for the first 5 generations to use the same rules present in the original release of this game with the option for the most recent rules if the player wants. The extra monster zone doesn't make the game unplayable or anything but considering all of those duels were originally designed with the original extra deck rules, I think it's fair to let players choose to use them.
As much as I like digital dueling, I feel the legacy of the duelist series is really weak. To me the best yugioh game will always be Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds into the Nexus. In that game you actually played through the storyas your own oc as if you was always part of the anime, walk around duel side characters, ride on duel runners, and get decks graded by the computer.
They honestly should've just used adapted storylines that involve the player as a separate character rather than have them play as existing characters. They've not done that since Tag Force Special. I have ideas for 4 different ARC-V storylines as well as a post-story idea that would bring closure to all the questions about the supposedly bad anime ending ;)
Happy that it's on the Switch. It's weird, though, how the whole game is Master Rule 4 when the series that established it, Vrains, only has three duels.
@@mightymanatee5342 plus brains wasn't finished when this game was being developed/came out so it would have been impossible to have all the vrains duels at launch
Oh boy, I completely forgot this came out today! The last yu gi oh videogame I played was Duel Academy for the GBA (Or World Championship? Wichever came second). Definitely will try to get it. But also... Astral Chain, man.

Its no longer only a Nintendo Switch game. It got a PC, Xbox one and PS4 ports with same day as the other ports was released the Nintendo Switch port got a update some just added all other duels in the YUGIOH vrains part and its in master rule 5 or 4.5. Just you can place fusion, synchro and xyz monsters on main monster zone without need Link points as well too on extra monster zone. But Link and Pendulum (from extra deck) can only be place on extra monster zone and main monster zone with Link points.
0:03:33 - Cynet Codec lets you target 1 "Code Talker" monster you have just summoned (or one of them, if you summoned multiple simultaneously somehow), for example, to add one with the same attribute to your hand and lock you to summoning Cyberse for the rest of the turn. If you manage to summon another "Code Talker" monster that turn, then if it is a different attribute from all the one(s) you targeted with Cynet Codec earlier that same turn, you can target that monster and add one of that attribute, but you are only allowed one per chain link. Ultimately it means you could potentially add up to 6 Cyberse monsters (WATER, FIRE, LIGHT, DARK, WIND, EARTH) each of different attributes to your hand in the same turn (not like it would happen, but still). I just read the card now, by the way, so I'm no expert. :-D

Oh my god cards The menu and gameplay gives me nostalgia of the old tagforce games on psp. They should make a tag force all the way to arc v with today’s cards. Btw there is a tag force on arc v but it’s jp exclusive
So, as someone who fell out of YuGiOh during the GX era but wants to get back into things on a casual level, does this game (or the original Legacy of the Duelist) do a good job teaching the player about the newer summoning mechanics, like Links and Pendulums?
Yes it does. I came back after 15 years and it has a tutorial for each new summoning mechanic. It can be overwhelming at first, but with some practise you'll get the hang of it.
It's just like the PS4 Legacy of the Duelist game. So far the PSP Tag Force Special remains the most exciting one because of the presence of voice actor animations
Can you disable the extra monster zones in the game if you're playing from arc-v back to the original. Because they never had extra monster zones in the original series up to arc-v and all. And I'm all about keeping the original Fields and rules from that era to fully immerse myself in the protagonist's shoes in the game. So could someone please answer my question? Thank you, it'd be a big help to me.
What would be a good deck build for my three exclusive cards, and what would a good build be to integrate all summoning methods onto one deck (fusion, synchro, ritual, pendulum, Xyz, and link) along with some good die roll/coin flip ones to insert with them if I return to dueling?
All they had to do was add Ghost Girl, Akira and Revolver to the Vrains story and could have more than doubled the amount of duels available to at least cover the first season (even if there were no cutscenes).
i really hope they dont give up with this like they did the original version because i really want to see the vrains story complete in the game along with all the cards

I swear this game knows what cards you are farming for, I spent 8000 on mai because I wanted some harpie cards and only got a few only spent 800 yugi and got really good cards.
1: the only things I don’t like about the game are no manga arcs (those were cool) and you have to buy a bunch of pack to even hope to get the cards you want for the decks you want! 2: the monsters on “Cynet Codec” are (in order from bottom and going clockwise) Decode Talker, Powercode Talker, Transcode Talker, Encode Talker, Shootingcode Talker (just released in TCG) and Excode Talker. Micro Coder also has other counterparts with a similar from hand link summon ability. Maybe your next trivia video should be about the Code Talkers!
ATN's The Rise of the Dead the problem with these games is that they’re always a few ban lists behind. That’s why I wish they’d make one game and keep updating it with the ban list and cards.
As someone that hasnt played yugioh since synchro have no idea how pandelum and link monsters work , is this game recomenden or will i be completley lost??
Looks like yugioh got so confusing I'm use to first generation rules and yugioh dark duel story's for gameboy is the best yugioh game ever made you could literally put your own cards from your own deck in the game by adding the numbers on the left bottom corner of the card. All yugioh games that doesn't have that is lame as fuck!
What about possible VRAINS content as dlc? new cards and cpu duels an stuff? is that at all a possibility? like I'm not expecting it to keep up with the OCG/TCG releases or anything but new content would be nice. An well 11/10 for the actual well Duel Disks. is a childhood dream made reality.
