Watching my favorite cards come to life with these animations is my favorite part of master duel. props to the people behind it, they are very talented
They always add some whenever a new featured pack comes out and it's not exclusive to those cards as well. This vid is already outdated with the new pack out as well as the alt art, and attack animations.
some choices for animations may seem weird, like traffic ghost or absolute Hercules. and some other cards definitely need them. the Egyptian gods, and not just slime, king calamity, and ddd boss monster, etc... and I think we all agree the more dynamic they are the better, catastor, hope harbinger, blue eyes are all great because of how much they move.
Traffic Ghost is a free card, and a generic Link-3 included in the Link starter deck. In other words it's a card that a very high number of new players will summon at one point. It has an animation to leave an impression on those new players, like summoning their boss monster.
Because it was in a starter deck, and those all gave multiple cards in them animations. Similar to how all of the solo mode archetypes also have at least 1 animation for them.
@@supernova9453 Utopia has 30 Morbillion animations so can bystials. Speaking of bad animation choice I'm kinda annoyed water enchantress got the anim and not gryphon given one is summoned many many more times than the other.
Apoqliphort Towers never ceases to amaze me Whilst it doesnt move, its pose coming off the ground is just...menacing. the illustration dimension itself shows that you're dealing with giant ancient, holy deity guardian machine
@@Salacavalini isn't it both, I mean your default screen is Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon" and even Ten-Thousand Dragon" has no animation either. I've summoned it so I know.

Ghostrick Festival and Nibiru are my personal favorite animations. I really need to get back into Master Duel so I can have some fun with my gimmicky Ghostrick deck. It may be bricky, but I just love the cards so much…
I don't even play this game but I'm miffed there's some cards missing - phantasm spiral dragon - Shadow of the Six Samurai - Shien (at least the synchro and main deck card are in) - F.A. Motorhome Transport - Not even a single True Draco tribute monster wtf
Yeah they were supposed to be Yugi's ace before the titular Magician swoop in and claimed all the glory, I wish Summoned Skull will get support to be a playable Archetype someday.
@@sasir2013 The Manga, Summoned Skull was the first Ace monster Yugi use in the first Duel with Kaiba and the second Duel in Death-T (Which kinda turned into the first Episode of Anime version) he used Gaia, then Dark Magician but his appearance here is quite minor. After that when they started the Duelist Kingdom, Summoned Skull is the one Yugi used to win against Haga (Weevil in US) in the first fight and Gaia also appeared in this one too. Gaia also got used a lot in Duelist Kingdom such as against Player Killer of Darkness (Panik) and being used for Ritual for Chaos Soldier (BLS) Dark Magician seems pretty secondary until the fight with Maze bros (Paradox bros), I think that is when the popularity of Dark Magician starts to come in. After Duelist Kingdom, Summoned Skull and Gaia barely appear and Dark Magician took the focus of Yugi's deck.
@Pedro Lucas s "most popular lore" is probably not true, considering the most recent Albaz lore. Although it was probably the most recent lore when Master Duel was released. It is also your first introduction to extended card lore through the solo mode as well.
