If your opponent has literally ZERO interruptions aside from Dogwood Tenpai can kill through it on an empty board if you have a few bodies/interruptions they can't.

You wanna know the amazing thing about this? I had no idea what Tenpai even was, I don't keep up with competitive dueling, I just play what looks fun. Been working on a good Synchro deck, and just saw this one able to summon Synchros easily so just went into it with my points. AFTER that, I found out everyone says it's going to be the most meta thing ever, lol. So looks like for once I'm going to be using a top tier meta deck.

Tenpai got their New Card When Goblin is not, Goblin will be tier 0 above Tenpai if we got the new Badass Goblin, trust me bro./

Konami legitimately should've just pretended that Tenpai didn’t exist in the case of Master Duel. People hated Numeron, which is extremely tame compared to Tenpai. This deck has absolutely no place in a bo1 format, and implementing it at almost full power is actually just a stupid decision that will and should cost them players.

Voiceless Voice actually has a counter to Tenpai. One of their Continuous Traps gives a ritual Monster the attack of every card on the field. So just use it before the level ten comes out, and they can't otk you.

For the duel at 35:00 they had to lava golem last because numeron monsters only double their attack when battling a monster.

Master Duel has had this rock-paper scissors problem for a while but it is worse than ever (and will continue to get worse over time). Just over the last year or two we've had Lab, Rollback, Tear, Yubel, Snake-Eyez, Tenpai, all competitive even after nerfs and all requiring side decking (like red reboot just loses you the game if you did not run into a trap deck on ladder). Unless you are playing a combo deck yourself then it "improves" to "just win the coin toss" instead. Well hopefully this is a learning experience.

Goblin biker is actually really strong against tenpai Because they make utopic future. A card that cant be destroyed by battle or card effects and has a negate

Only lost once so far to Tempai, but I won the next game on ladder using Vaalmonica. Tempai is certainly a scarier deck to face when you don’t stop them from popping off.

I think I made a mistake spending as much as I did for this deck . It came out yesterday and so far I've had 7 duels in gold rank 4 of them were mirror matches. Yeah this is gonna get old real quick..

I just switched to counter degeneracy with Infernoids into Beatrice (turn skip).

I cook with goblin bikers/libromancer/tenpai/punk/gold pride/ in one deck n it set's up like 5 interruptions. 3 negate, pop into 2 sucks from the gold pride fusion n suck from gabonga. N it extends for next turn

I pulled every Tenpai card from the packs with just 6k gems but it seems to have been wasted on me because every monster effect I use is negated even with the field card( that I can never seem to draw). Vanquish soul,tear,branded,centur-ion and so many other decks just negate and shut down everything I do😂😂😂

14:37 Nah we're not going to play battle fader to beat tenpai... we're playing memento to beat tenpai. Those that are arguing with me already have clearly not seen tenpai stare down a combined creation with cranium burst... so far no tenpai I have seen has beaten it yet I have usually been able to get into it. Those saying "You can't tell off of a few matches" bruh both had full combo first one I saw I had no idea on it so I played into them and won via their surrender albeit close and honestly I most likely would have won anyway with them down to 4k staring down twin, horned, and a 2k combined with cranium and about to be my turn, the second was not even close to the point they had an empty field with one card in hand meanwhile I am just doing full combo trying to destroy my own cards for the proficiency thing. Is it really hard to say the deck loses when in both cases it seemed pretty well like tenpai exhausted its resources/plays but memento even if running low still had plenty to fight back with? I argue that tenpai is the weakest of the new three pretty far out, ritual beast is second best only second because of how long it takes to set up the board, biker is the best of the three for the consistency, power, and how capable it is to provide a good board quickly. For anyone questioning on infernity I don't have enough to say if it actually would be better/worse than tenpai/Mememento but I would most likely place it a little over ganbonga.

Kashtira have a good matchup against tenpai as long as you use kashtira scareclaw properly.

The thing about tenpai is that it is a very fun and technical duel PROVIDED they don’t have sangen summoning which turns the duel into a snooze-fest “you lose on the spot” game
