I know Final Sigma is their big boss monster, but I’d love to see a second big boss that adds Circular and/or Diameter into the equation. Call it something like, Final Mathmech Infinity. Give it an alt win condition to set it apart from Final Sigma.
I really appreciate the amount of googling you had to do for this video XD But seriously, I do like how informative those series are on all different parts of the archetypes. From lore to appearance in yugioh anime/manga/whatever else, what exactly the card/archetype does/wants to do and even what it's design is based on and what it thematically represents. You either put a lot of work into these videos, or you just are a big, goofy nerd and know it all XD
Mathmechs was the first deck I made in master duel and has been one of my favorite deck even before circular's release. It always makes me happy when someone puts them as their topic of a video.
Thank you so much for explaining all these math terminology, regardless of how you feel about it. I really appreciate your videos! I thought it cool that they made an archetype based off from math!
Listening to you try to explain the Math concepts was great. You did well for someone who's not a maths nerd. But some of them, the uncertainty in your voice was hilarious.
I was just thinking about trying Mathmechs earlier, funny coincidence! Maybe Krawlers would be a good archetype to try considering they have a unique playstyle and lore relevance in world legacy
I want to see the day they give them more support with a card called "Mathmech Perimeter" or "Mathmech Area" that forces your opponent to reveal any face down monsters and negates the opponent's field spells. This is due to the monster being able to search the perimeter around or area inside the field with ease. You could even make both and have it to where Perimeter targets monsters while Area targets traps and spells.
As Cyberse has become my new favorite monster type I'm glad they're getting new archetypes. Though I'm still hoping that the rest of the ones from Vrains get printed soon. The ones that are left are the ones used by Windy, Lightning and Varis'(Revolvers') A.I. thing.
Mathmech has literally become my favorite archetype and I have been waiting for years for this video! Themed after math, use Synchros, are Cyberse type and has wonderful versatility. There is nothing to not love about them! The only shame is that I don’t actually own them irl, so I have to rely on the games and other simulations to play them. Still, I am always looking to improve this deck every time a new Synchro and Xyz monster is revealed. There are just so many unique takes on the archetype that you can do just by including a small amount of cards. You can easily make a Chaos variant, Link-centric, Lightsworn, Raidraptor, Utopia and the list goes on. Here’s praying that the TGS curse kicks in and Konami does release even more support soon! Side note on OCG Structures: Shomu, the protagonist, does lose now and then.
Mathmechs were the first archetype i used when i started making own decks..for the 1st time. And so far, I keep playing them. They are plenty fun to do even if i hate maths. Especially if i manage to defeat my opponent in like 2 turns. (im still pretty new to yugioh)
Mathmech’s are probably one of my favorite archetypes that have come out in The past few years. Design and usage wise, they just seem so fun to use l; although going against them might be a different story
Me: Wants to create a new deck in Master Duel "oh I think I'll do Mathmech!" TGS: "These cards actually make you do the thing they're based on." Also me: "lmao hell no nvm"
This is my get my favourite archetype in Yu-Gi-Oh as it's the first deck I built in master duel when it released and when circular was added I felt great.
Mathmech Division’s weapon seems to resemble a Naginata, which is basically a katana on the end of a long stick, which means that you could call it a swordspear if you want.
As someone currently studying maths at uni, it was very entertaining hearing the Laplacian explained, and indeed pronounced like that (in my degree it’s always been lapl-ass-ian) - great video! :D
I love this archetype mainly because at the end of the day, the final boss is just an old-school beat stick that your opponent can't do anything about.
Love your vids dude. Hopefully you can do Ursarctic and/or Drytron next. Would love to see you find the story between the two, and why they're working together.
@@dudono1744 First of all drytron based on draco constellation and ursactic based on both the ursa major and ursa minor constellation, hence the big bear and the small bear. Each the drytron monster name is based on star that made the constellation.
@@youdmn1665 Now the only thing we need is the "Why". Why Dragons and Bears are working together? What are they fighting for or against? Hopefully we get a full understanding in the future either in a Master Duel Gate or good 'ol TGS does some research, cuz I'm not gonna, not my profession.
@@youdmn1665 Ty for the drytron origin. The ursarctic origin is fairly obvious (if you have some knowledge about constellations) given they have the cosmic teddy bear. Now it kinda makes sense they work together.
I'm still waiting on Mathmech (), Mathmech Exponent, Mathmech Equallization and finally Mathmech P.E.M.D.A.S. a Fusion made by fusing a Mathmech monster from the extra deck plus 1 or more Mathmech monsters and it gains additional effects for each Mathmech use to fuse.
I was getting back into Yu-Gi-Oh when these came out, and, as someone who loves math, I gravitated to this archetype. I hope they expand on it, so many math functions to make into boss monsters. It would even be cool to see an archetype that works with Mathmech in a similar manner to the different branches that use math (signal processing, probability and statistics, etc.).
I'm afraid we need to use.... MATH. This is probably my favourite archetype between their awesome designs, the gigachad boss monster they have in Final Sigma and how useful they are as a Cyberse Engine for alot of Cyberse decks.
After using a variety of different matchmatical formulae over both schooling and engineering study and career this deck is nice. It definatly would be something an engineer friend would use. It would be interesting if this deck recieved pendulum monsters sin and cos in reference to the uninterrupted swing of a pendulum and its displacement when graphed being a sin or cosine wave. Depending on what is determined as positive and negative. Then there could be a boss pendulum called Tan, to reference the tangent wave and the other key factors from these. Don't know what fusions could utilise. Maybe quadratic, cubic and other polynomial equation... maybe if you use two of 3 mathmonsters with the same name or something. Idk
I find it funny that you did a bit where you go "let's talk about math" and then hear someone running away. Even though you use math every time you play this game.
Thanks for doing my request. I love this archetype due to its cleverness and design since I love mech. Hope they will add more support in the future for this card.
I think it would be cool if they included other processes. I majored in chemistry so not a math major, but would be cool if they added like a differential/partial differential spell or trap card. Like with partial differential, you can destroy an XYZ or synchro monster and replace it with a lower rank/level than the destroyed card and special summon one of the XYZ or synchro materials. Then for differential make it to where it's like a de-synchro or de-xyz kind of card where you special summon the materials
I'm still waiting for some gravekeepers love. One of the most broken archetypes if you use them right. Would really love to watch you doing an archetypes explained about them. 😊
Waiting for the Xyz Mathmech's in Duel Links. And I believe a Synchro is missing too. Crazy how it's a Cyberse deck without a single Link monster. Makes me wonder who would've used it if it featured in Vrains
Final Sigma is the missing Synchro. If they do add him, I think they'll remove the double damage from it. Sad as that may be, but considering how easy it is to bring him out and how much LP you start with, I say that's a fair change.
@@RyusparkX Well Duel Links is no stranger to changing Cards to fit Duel Links better. A lot of monsters have changed text, like 'Cracking Dragon' for example. Makes me wonder what a Matchmech Link monster would be
Ok ngl I didn't understand about 90% of those math explanations and now I'm scared for the next time my kids ask me for help in math now that they are both in high school 😅. Thanks
Sorry if you mentioned it in the video, I more have it for visit background ambiance than sound… I just wanted to note about the division monster… in America, the more commonly (the one I grew up understanding was the common one at least) was this symbol; ➗ Still, this was a LOT of research you had to do, and I thank you so much for it. Also, Bastion TOTALLY would've had this archetype (changing some extra deck monsters though) if he appeared as a duelist in Arc-V…
As a mathematics major in college, I’ve heard of some of these words lol. Probably some other words that I haven’t seen yet are from classes I haven’t taken yet.
I destroyed my friend on edo pro with Mathmechs...he managed to get Power Tool Dragon on the field (before the new support for morphtronics came out), and I mangaged to get Final Sigma out, Sigma had nayuta equpped, and was in the extra monster zone, and attacked Power Tool Dragon for game
