I've been trying to raise this topic in as many threads and platforms as possible and the main argument I hear against it is that it'll take away from the card pool/ main game. But this game is 25 years old, it wasn't fully thought through at inception, it's been power crept to shit, and the new formats seem to be stagnant card pools which isn't exactly what the players want. I'm terms of balancing it only makes sense for a reboot. And a "Yu-Gi-Oh 2 doesn't mean Yu-Gi-Oh 1 won't exist. A sequel would be a great opportunity for Konami to look at the game from hindsight and ask themselves what went wrong, what went right, and start from the ground up rather than patching the game with an insanely huge card pool. Old cards can be made stronger, new cards could be toned down, no one would complain because it's a fresh start. It's only logical. I don't see where the hate for the idea comes from.

konami seems to even start spreading out the rush duel boxes release schedule because it is not selling well in the game, right now we are going into the 3rd speed duel box release in a row I think

That’s unfortunate to hear that, because as my friend has mentioned in the video the mode seems fun but I’m still holding on hope for it but I don’t expect much

but bonfire tho??, you can add any lv 4 or lower pyro card! which is great for like 1 deck lmao
