Beyond professional work.

Bullshit blue ultimate dragon is way stronger (4500) than meteor b dragon(3500). And blue eyes are a bit stronger than red eyes. They have the same effects or better the only good one is red eyes dark metal dragons.

Red eyes is 2nd rate compare to blue eyes barely a rival only red dark metal dragon who stops one effect and dmgs opperent by attack of one of their mons. Yugi don't joke everyone knows your the world greatest dueist.

Rules were still being made at the time, our best assumption is that it's like in Season 1 of Duel Monsters when the 3 heads are separate as that's the chapters that were releasing in the manga at the time.

In the original game the battle phase was vastly different, in fact it was virtually identical to MtG's one: "Rule 4: To determine the result of the battle, compare the ATK of your attacking monster with the DEF of the attacked monster." "Rule 5: If your monster's ATK is higher, your opponent's monster is destroyed." "Rule 6: Even if you destroy the opponent's monster, if the DEF of your monster is lower than the ATK of your opponent's monster, your monster is also destroyed." now with the rules explained the "UBEWD here isnt a fusion, but a special "card" that was actually 4 physical cards, kinda like exodia. Monsters back then didnt had effects, if you ever see the cards what the have printed on the text box are one of the many rules of the game, but a few of them had special rules, "Blue-Eyes White Dragon 3-Body Connection" was one of them and its rule was this: "~Special Rule~When "Blue-Eyes White Dragon 3-Body Connection" and "Wicked Chain" are arranged simultaneously and played, this becomes an atk/4500 def/3000 monster, and it can attack 8 times consecutively. Now with all that wall of text explained Black Meteor Dragon is a 3500 atk / 3000 def monster thus he can destroy the Blue-Eyes. As why yugi won is due how the game says who wins: "Rule 7: When the battle ends, draw 1 card from your Deck and you can end your turn." "Rule 8: Each turn will continue like this, until both players' Decks are empty." "Rule 9: Each player counts the total Level Stars of all monsters that they destroyed. The player with the highest amount is declared the winner." Yugi just destroyed more monsters by that point by stalling a few times and feeding Blue-Eyes a few low level ones.
