Had a lot of fun making the rules for this duel, even if it ended up going completely off the rails! 👍🏾 Drop a Like if you enjoyed it and let us know: What extra Yu-Gi-Oh rules would YOU add to the wheel?
If we are taking inspiration from actual cards: 1) both players shuffle their hands into the deck and draw the same # of cards added back 2) add 1 card from the deck or GY that specifically mentions Obelisk or Slifer
One rule that I can think of is Spell Sanctuary. It was played by Kaiba in the iconic Coliseum duel, the semi-finals of Battle City. The card reads as follows: When you activate this card, each player takes 1 Spell Card from their Deck and adds it to their hand. Then, they shuffle their Deck. While this card is face-up on the field, each player can activate Spell Cards during their opponent's turn. TLDR: Each player searches a spell, and all spell cards can be played as quick-play. I think this could add to the chaos of the wheel. Not sure if you'd wanna keep the quick-play spell as a continuous/field effect or not.
Me, my brother and his friends came up with a special type of dueling. The 5 Way Duel. Here are the rules: 1. Each duelist starts with 10,000 Life Points instead of 8,000 2. Effects of designated attacks can only target the duelist that attacks you. 3. Each duelist draws on the first turn. 4. Under 4,000 Life Points you draw 2 cards instead of 1 And 5. Nobody can attack on the first turn. 5 rules. 5 duelists. 1 winner.
Couple ideas for rules: Players swap hands/graveyards/backrow. In the future if you do other cards with synchros maybe something like player can make any card a tuner. You can Link for free. A super trolly one is players cut their decks and then trade a half to their opponents
Similar to the Fiber Jar option Making obscure/super situational cards options on the wheel. Question, Convulsion of Nature, Exchange and Time Wizard come to mind
this is the best duel I've ever seen from APS. It was hilarious. Terrell was about to lose his mind. We definitely need more of this in the future. One ep per week or something. this was too good. completely unique that no other tuber is doing.
Rule idea: Attacking costs 1 discard or monster tribute. Dealing lifepoint damage to your opponent lets you draw one card but next turn getting a card destroyed deals damage to you
Dude, this was the greatest match ever lmao. I love the chaos of it! This should be in official yugioh lmao. Also, glad he's okay after tripping! Thought it was part of a skit at first lmao.
negate any effects this turn def and atk are switched this turn switch up all positions of the monsters this turn (so atk position goes to def and vice versa) any cards that go the gy get banished instead this turn flip all monster cards this turn trade one card from your hand with your opponent this turn
Thank you all for all the content and fun yall give us cause today I really needed this video this morning cause I'm in deep sadness with loosing my mom yesterday. I'm sorry to say that on here, but I wanted to let all of you guys know that all of you make my day. Thank you so much for videos like this❤
Anyone else CONSTANTLY bothered that Trell’s GY was in his right-most monster zone and his deck was in his right-most S/T zone? No? Just my OCD? Okay then…
7:35 can i just point out, the dude playing obelisk (Trell) has the perfect slifer hand with what looks like 9 cards and the one using slifer (Larry) has 2, what!?

They should have spun every three turns that way it's still alternating. But if you're going to spend the wheel every turn, you going to have effects that don't change much about the game and make them linear like turn player draws one card
🤭PAUL MAKE A VIDEO: WHERE BOTH OF YOU USE THE SAME ONE DECK.😛 ONE OF YOU SELECTS 20 CARDS OF CHOICE THEN THE OTHER PLAYER SELECTS 20 CARDS.😌 A 40 card deck or 60 both of you combine each others picks. SHUFFLE THE DECK AN PLAY. 🤣 THE DECK CAN BE PLACED SIDEWAYS IN THE CENTER🤓
An idea that my friend and I do when playing MTG with a spinning wheel. During that turn, the game is played with a rule from another TCG. For example, on ours, if it lands on the FaB you draw at the end of the end step instead of during your draw phase and must draw up to 4 cards. The games we use are YGO (the attacker declares on-field targets), Pokemon (only one creature can attack/others become "benched"), Hearhstone (lands untap during end step), Duel Masters (any creature can give mana), FaB, and Digimon (you can digi-volve one into another creature of the same color. All equipment/enchantments go on the new card). Obviously playing this way in YGO would be different but the overall concept would be the same.
If you all are looking for ideas for videos, you all can try dueling with fake Yugioh cards, but using the Rulette wheel (or app) to add rules. I imagine this will be super chaotic!
honestly I probably won't finish the video but you could basically just boil this idea into a card concept since dice based effects are a thing and just make it a field spell or something interesting like that, I would play it for the rediculousness of the idea
Great vidio ,i have two rule Suggestions one of them is that you and youre Opponent roll two dices each and then both players can special summon a monster from the GY with the same level as the number of the two dice rolls Combined or just one of the dice rolls, 2nd rule idea this turn you can tribute 3 monsters on the feld then special summon one god card from the hand or GY.
how about a CED effect, send all cards in hand and field to gy and the player takes damage equal to what they sent by 100 and draw 1 or pay 1000 to draw 2 instead
one rule i would put is that each player rolls a dice, and high roll skips next turn. another would be outside force rolls lots of dice. player with most dice on their side of the table is now turn player.
Larry's super quiet as well as Paul, while trell bursts out in speaker blowing cackles. Wonder if individual clip on mics would balance the vocal highs and lows
Any chance we can get some Arc-V archetypes? Odd Eyes,Pend Magician,Speedroid,Phantom Knights,Raidraptor,DDD? The different rules is always fun to see. Last but not least Supreme King Z-Arc. I'd love to see a "can you summon this impossible card" challenge where the 4 Dragon requirement has to be met within said person having 13 individual turns. 26 turns to summon Z-Arc without the Astro or Chronograph's effect. Now time to binge watch more IRL duels from Team APS.
Maybe try and have a pop up with the rules on screen? I know it's extra work for the editor, but some times Trell and/or Larry would read the special rule halfway or mumble or laugh before finishing their sentence, and I couldnt really understand what the effect was.
