I am back now playing the Redux Mod of Yu-Gi-Oh! The Duelist of the Roses. I hear this is a fun mod with higher difficulty so I definitely needed to play this. This part is a bit long due to the opening portion of the game but hopefully other parts will be shorter.

Aside from double thunder dragon, I think this deck can also make Twin Head with Sea King Dragon (Dragon + Violent Rain) + Thunder. Aqua Dragon and Stone D can also work for the Dragon component for THTD, but without a Rock for Stoney Boi, or turtles/Pyro to chain fuse into Aqua Dragon, they're not accessible yet, by any fusion chain I can see at least. The generic advice for Redux is if you're struggling, fight Deck Master K with the 2nd memory card slot empty, so he uses your own deck against you. Then double up on your good cards and cut out anything you don't like. If Deck Master K is feeling competent with his fusions, you might even be able to grab a Sea King Dragon from him 😊

That is good advice for making Twin Headed. I have tried custom duel, but I don't go against a copy of myself which is okay because the computer is using a Rock deck so a good chance to get Stone D, which would be really great to have for Twin Headed since I really need more decent dragon components for fusions.

My memory isn't the best so I might be wrong here, but I believe if you're fighting Mystical Sand rather than your own deck, that means the emulator has a memory card in its second virtual slot? If you get the emulator to eject the memory card in the second slot so it's empty, it should let you fight your own deck instead of that crafty Sand Witch ^-^ But yeah Stone D is a great alternative, so a few stony boi's from her should work a treat 😊

Wait you played the vanilla version like a week ago how come you don’t remember how to use a power up card?😂

Because there are power up cards that affect the field and ones that act like equip cards. The wording of spring of rebirth made me think it was a field power up similar to Rain of Mercy or Limiter Removal, but now I know better... Hopefully 😂

RIght, your cards get promoted a lot quicker in this mod. There are ways to farm those up quickly and also to obtain actual copies of THTD but I‘m sure you’ll only want to read about that later. Regarding Equip Spells, one safe way that I found to differentiate between them and global buffers is that the global ones always say „ALL type X monsters“ as opposed to the equip cards. Rain of Mercy vs. Vile Germs for example.

I played 2 games in custom duel and was surprised to see how easily my monsters were being promoted. It is definitely an improvement. That definitely makes sense. I thought that card was more like rain of mercy and made a mistake, granted I would have lost anyway, but it is good to know how a lot of my cards work now.
