After careful following, I have figured out the component on a 2.1 channel amp variant TPA3118 based board. I am not really expert in electronic like you are, and I am puzzled by what is going on with the diode. But I trust you and will follow your schematic. Thanks.
So, this one has hiss but no turn on thump bit.ly/2xHZu0H This is what you are after, but I haven't tested it bit.ly/2PQgcSR And this also looks cool bit.ly/2ODEOOu
This one looks exactly what I was after: bit.ly/2PQgcSR I guess a 100 watt power supply like this could be used for that: bit.ly/2PXWhSb The TPA3116D2 100 watt mono also gets a lot of positive feedback: bit.ly/2PPJ7qb The question is only how to get 2 of those in a proper stereo setup with the right components.
this video really helps me, now i just need to unglue the heatsink and find the things and implement the anti-pop, btw can you review the mono amplifier 1x500W ones ?
btw, i have 2 TPA3116 Amps, 1 that have a hot coils and have anti-pop design and 1 with no hot coils with kinda anti-pop design, if you have the volume on 0, its not gonna pop the speaker, but if you have the volume other than 0 then its gonna pop. planning to make it into 2.1 system with 2.1 pre-amp
@@clee2423 hmmm ... I don't know ... check my other video on that good TPA3116 2.1 amp ... If you want to learn shit and have a go at it then great; otherwise I'd just buy that board ... somewhere around 15-20$, has anti-pop, chokes stay cold The only thing you'd need to do on that one is change some resistors to lower the gain (quite hissy otherwise)
@@Darieee actually, having watched the whole video, I can confirm that you specifically said that there was still a pop on power off, but it wasn't much so you didn't feel the need to address it
I just applied the mod to the amp. It actually works and it gives almost 2 sec delay to the start up process. No pop at tuning on. But my module suffers from pop at turning off. Some current goes through my speakers as soon as I turn the amplifier off or pull the power cord. Could you please help me solve this part too? Thank you so much in advance.
I'm afraid that's as far as my knowledge set goes 😂 do google the anti-pop tpa3116 forum posts and maybe it's discussed there did you have a schotky on hand ?
@@Darieee Yes. I have two SS14. I made the circuit exactly as you had mentioned in your video. It did work and it makes delay in start-up. But my problem is with turning off. Thank you so much for your time.
