Since nothing scales off attack, he gets next to NO use from them. So you only want Crit% gauntlets, or Def% gauntlets. The base attack on the weapon doesnt do anything unlike every other character.
if you can i think it is important for rover/4* character to mention their chains. for example getting yuan wu to c4 allows him to somewhat fulfill a support role. i ran yuanwu, yinlin, and calcharro in the new tower to great effect. I run impermanence heron energy set of course, but i am using the Marcato gloves although i Amity accord is very good as well, i think they even out perform the 5 star gloves. i use him as a switch and ult bot with so much energy regen any time the shield falls off he can reapply (lower cd than the healers) and add the anti interrupt. i haven't min/maxed anything. could maybe lose the weapons to get more damage but my energy regen roles have been garbage so thats a later game issue. but to the main point. its nice to learn about fun niche uses gained through chains since 4 stars are so much easier to get.
There's the 3 star gauntlets with crit damage and heal 1-3% hp on basic attack. So mainly building crit rate with your main echo with crit damage as secondary priority is fine.
got my sub for doing something no one else is... and doing it flawlessly. Now... I think you can expand on your Taoqi guide... please consider it... cause i want to build her but i'm not sure if i'm not spreading my resources too much... so i need to make a good investiment on my next character.

you kinda need to be level 40 + to get have a reasonable take about a character. You also need to test it in ToA and see how he performs compared to others. before 40 everything is too squishy, builds dont matter, every char slaps. I am Yuanwu player and he is far from Insane...
Good video my man. I just built him earlier today. 5pc rejuvenating, crit electro electro def def - using the type iv gauntlets to proc the 5pc passive + cd substat. Another option to build him, but to each their own. Cheers!
For those wondering why my echos are mostly DEF and im using ATKATK weapons its because Kuro gave me 800 swords and 4 gauntlets, that on top of my echo merging session costing me a lot of variety. However, in the video pay attention during these parts because i do specify what you actually want to use in order to successfully build yuanwu
I might be retarded, but i genuinly think this build you are advising is very bad. your advice is to basically build a worse version of support Yuanwu, and play him as main dps. You went full def% and energy recharge in your echo build, which would imply that you are using him as an R-spamming support, like Verina, but that is not even close to his best support build, and deffinitely makes no sense for a main dps, crit stats and lighting bonus damage + lightning set, and def% on 1 costs and substats is how you would build him for main dps.
hi, i main Yuanwu, and is a Beast DPS... and you are right, the build in the video is very bad. why an attack weapon? all of his on field damage and off field damage scales with deff

@@Gheniel_ i think it would work. I was realy luck and have a rank 3 Amity acord, the 4* def gauntlet and use a 4 cost echo with crit chance. Full electro set, dont have great subs but it works. Stun the bosses realy fast and the ult after the intro packs a punch
Well I understand where you're coming from, but in the video i specifically said to take more than just defense. The reason i had those echos equipped was because i just merged them all and need to restock (only had the ones that were equipped available).
