From my understanding, I feel it's possible that he could have forgotten about some of the cards he printed for one reason or another, having made so many of them since he began
Yugi: This card is incredible and won me the duel against a guy who could use an artifact to read minds... Now I'll put it in a folder in my bedroom and never use it again.
@dbzdrag0n I forgot about that... Oh, wait a minute, remember Noah's arc was in the matrix. Yugi added a digital card to his deck. The real one was still in his card folder in his room somewhere, or his grandpa put it up for sale.
I remember being 8 years old watching this on tv in my room and i went absolute ape shit when i seen this new magician at the time. Ill never forget that feeling.
@@spiderplantnah. This feels just as epic as I remember seeing MOBC descend from the heavens like that. This and BLS were the Super Saiyan moments of yugioh.
Said it before, The way Duel Monsters originally showed Ritual Summoning makes it seem like you can summon directly from the deck. If only it was like that irl. Would’ve made things easier
@@SKMedia252Actually when Yugi set kuriboh in face down defense position you can clearly see Magician Of Black Chaos's card next to kuriboh's.We saw ritual cards thousands of times in the anime.
back in the day when the game was more simple people used to monologue for fun, now people spend 99% of the time reading cards because each card have like 100 abilities.
In the Japanese version yugi's magicians are all meant to have the word black instead of dark. Because black magic, 4kids changed it to avoid any potential race issues.
“His final courageous act set the stage for the greatest magician in all of Duel Monsters! And with the Magician of Black Chaos, I will avenge my fallen friend!” One of my favourite quotes from the first season 🤩😁
I remember when I first saw that episode as a kid, I thought the Magician of Chaos looked so cool and I always wanted that outfit. Only years later I realised that belts all over your body are not a magicians outfit.😂
When the strongest magician is a 2800 non effect monster. While there are tons of other monsters out there with more attack and/or easier to summon. Even back then
I like how Yami unnecessarily took Jigan Bakudan/Relinquished with brain control just hoping the facedown card little yugi played would work out for him. Like he could have just not taken Bakudan with brain control and let it destroy relinquished and be in a winning position. But instead of just letting Bakudan explode on pegasus’ side he decided, “I’m going to brain control the card that would lose me the duel this turn and just hope the facedown card yugi played could do something about it.”
To think the creator and designer of the Yugioh Game and all its cards doesn't know what the ritual card will summon. Maybe when he drew each card with the power of the Millennium Eye, Pegasus goes into a trance and didn't know what cards he drew.
@@stock_movie1875 not the point. Pegasus made every card, he knows every strategy. Yet he didn't know what the ritual card did. Him getting caught off guard makes sense, not him not knowing what the card did
@@Marika_ER exactly the point. He made EVERY card. He can't possibly remember what every card does nor every possible strategy. Because with the THOUSANDS of cards at the time there's billions of possible plays and combos.
