Actually in the Japanese verison..it's not just Jack...but the twins, even Aki(za)'s own parents want her to be with Yusei...even telling before she leaves to let Yusei know how she feels about him... and there's Martha too. I mean in the Japanese verison....Martha told him to go save his future wife in episode 40. Not that stupid Duel Rider crap (one of the thing's that pissed me off in the English verison...I was like. It's so stupid. It's not even funny) I do love some of the added hints in the English dub. Possibly the best thing about the English verison. Like Yusei saying she's beautiful during their first duel...that didn't happen in the Japanese verison. And Martha telling Yusei that she agrees she is very pretty when she goes to Satellite sector. I mean since it's not in the orginal verison it's not official but,....I only wish that combined with the Japanese hints. It would have been even better. Plus Yusei by the end is strongly implied to love her back.... Even Yusei's Japanese actor said that he feels they love each other and once they accomplished their dreams would get married. (Something like that) And I think he also stated they kissed before she left. So it obvious he would wait for her...despite Yusei not being shown in the epilogue. It's so sweet!!
Legit I did find their conversation about the chicken funny. She's right about their friend in danger and here's these guys talking about not Kentucky Fried Chicken.

@@antonitocotter447 canonically, Homer was once a bright-eyed idealist with ambitions and a drive to learn, but then working at the soul-crushing job at Springfield's Nuclear Power Plant wore him down into the stereotypical bumbling husband and father trope. He could probably do it with the right motivation.
@@Eothr That, and the Simpson's gene kicking in, though it seems like Abe Simpson's line has a weaker variant between Abe's war stories and Homer's half-brother being unaffected until learning he's a Simpson, honestly, it seems like the gene gives high intelligence if you can overcome the instincts, something we can see when the crayon is removed from Homer before he puts it back and from Bart when he applies himself (before Lisa gets jealous and shuts him down for the umpteenth time.)

So this is like the first time that I've heard the dub voice actors for the actual show (I've just been watching the sub) and I have to say I at first thought this was an abridged series until I found the episode in English and after that I couldn't stop laughing thinking this is what kids saw in America for this show and it just made this show 10× better knowing somebody wrote this into the script about Crow delivering chicken and Jack essentially being Australian

No she still had them at this time... in fact she then latter used them not long after the clip ended to bust Yusei out of the Truck he was trapped in.
At the very end of the duel with her and Crow vs Sherry on the Ark Cradle her psychic powers evolved to have healing powers. For w.e reason as to why they disappeared during her crash b.c of Team Catastrophe idk... probably just to give another reason for Crow to duel...

wow this is the first time the main female character didn't keep it bottled up (that I've seen) -Tea and yugi- seem more one sided with Atem -Alexis and Jaden- couldn't make up her mind -Akiza and yusei- funny and very natual
yuma and Kotori (Check) Although it seemed more one sided for kotori Yuya and Yuzu (check) Yuto and Ruri (check) Yugo and Rin (check) Yuri and Serena (check?!?) so thats more successful relationships than failed ones^^
@@ianr.navahuber2195 Yusei and Akiza had ship tease, so it would make sense to hammer it up in the English dub, but Yusaku and Aoi?! They haven't really had any interactions that hint that they like each other. The dub took way too many liberties here!

Man, wishing for an abridged version of this, imagine like "we have taken your best friend", then crow would say "YOU BASTARDS, HE OWN ME MONEY! where are you so I can pummel your heads?" and then they say "uhh we are not telling you". Then it would turn and back and forth between them of why they don't wanna tell where they are just to crow say "oh I get it, you bitches are just trolling at me, you don't have Yusei" to then be answered with something like "yes we have him, here he is" and comes a guy doing a very lame impression of Yusei saying "UH guy, HELP ME I'M LIKE kidnapped, tell my motorcycle I love her" to finish the flashback with crow saying "that's Yusei alright"

Don't know what's more ridiculous: the kidnapper calling to let crow know yusei has been kidnapped as if they were pals, or crow not thinking it was that big of a deal. Even when 4kids is trying to sell seriously heavy plot points, they totally miss the mark.
It's a show where the city is running on the positive vibes of card games. It couldn't sell a serious plotpoint without being silly literally all of the time if it tried.
Exactly. I don't how people complain about dumb arcs or bad writing in any season. This is a series where 90% of everything is solved with card games. Kidnapping, card games. Sickness, card games. Company Takeover, card games. War, card games. The very survival of the human race, card games.

I wouldn't say *ALL* of them. Yugi thought Anzu preferred Yami Yugi over him but he does like her too. Judai-Kun oh yeah, he's a complete dunce in that field. Yuma-Kun didn't figure it out until Kotori told him in the end, Yuya was equally as clueless although I think it was clear that Yuzu being...abducted/separated I guess? Made him start to come around. Yusei isn't an idiot, his face after she started did make it seem like he caught on to what she was trying to say before making the *"Beautiful Smile"* comment.

Faith DiMaria No one gave it a chance. If they did they would be true fans. They complain about the motorcycles and dueling while riding them. But it's a reference from the original Yu-Gi-Oh where Marik (that guy with the Ra god card). Marik said in a flash back that his dream was to ride a motorcycle and duel on one. I can't remember the episode where it came from but it was mentioned prior to Yugi getting custody of all the god cards (I believe he only had the Slifer the Sky Dragon at that point).
Well, at least the dub give us two things: 1: Crow invented Food delivery importance AHEAD OF HIS TIME 2: If the Dub continued, I'm pretty sure Aki and Yusei would have confesed each other better and explicit unlike the Japanese version (not confirmation, just a feeling) 🥲
Well Jaden never encountered life threatening situations that almost ended his dueling days - I don't count the time Sartorius's mind powers made him unable to see his cards after he lost to Aster.
