at 14:30 ceruli wouldve been popped because grapha is mandatory, great test hands regardless. wanna see you try 3 corridors and maybe colorless soon when it comes out

Yeah I even say I want to add it back and not destroy it, but actions ignored my brain 😅 I wanted to ditch the zalamander to do that but hands said nope

10:25 Just to extend even if it’s unecessary cause you hand looped the opponent but to extend the combo, you could normal summon zephyros, link 2 for muckracker, zephyr effect on gy to summon it and take back your gate, then use it again and at the end muckracker effect. But an important point for all the DW players, let’s imagine the same situation but no hand loop and you cannot normal summon. If you have appolousa on board, don’t hesitate to use the grapha fusion and another monster to link summon mucracker, then use her effect to revive the grapha fusion and discard a card like a siilva, then bounce it back for a rainbow or grapha. You now have a better board with mucracker to protect your monsters too

Glad you like it, there is a lot of RNG factor with the deck but when it works, it works really well.
@pouletkfc6174

7:30 : grapha is mandatory so you had to pop ceruli. If The Grapha fusion was placed in a way that with cross sheep you could after revive ceruli that would have been okay but the better play was to discard swoww instead of Rainbow at 5:00 with dark corridor. Then you could have search archives sooner, use its first effect to discard a DW card, discard Rainbow, chain 1 archives, chain 2 rainbow. On resolution, search another siilva or goldd, then discard it, summon it back on your field. Ofc if you hadn’t have enough space before, go for some link plays. Also just a note, with snoww discarded by archives, you can’t do that cause snoww is mandatory so it will always be chain 1 and then archives.

And dark world should be an easy deck? 😅
@pouletkfc6174
@pouletkfc6174 Год назад
@@steroitzzit's a combo deck but with more part of RNG than other decks because of the Danger! Archertype. You always have to adapt about them and what you discard with their effect. But with dark corridor now you can choose more often what you want to discard and little tricks like the one i told can be useful to generate a better board and card advantage. You just have to know them, after that it's more easy. Not as a one card combo like in mathmech but it's still easier than before.
@whitesage922
@whitesage922 Год назад
@@steroitzz it's kinda RNG based (thanks Danger!s), all you have to keep in mind aside of that are the chains, some are mandatory (genta, ceruli, snoww, grapha) and some allow you to enter in your big circle of search-draw-discard (reign-beaux, dark corridor, dark archives and gates) with honorable mentions of coach king and saryuja (game changer imo). but trust me DW is not in a sweet spot rn, too many hand traps (the deck can still play around those even if, as i said, is RNG) like droll and D.shifter, ash is no big deal, cause DW has massive draw-search potential, even with 2 cards you can end on a very sexy endboard (grapha boss and n.38 for example) but still there are wa many more decks that outshine DW in terms of "easy to combo" and/or floodgate-handtraps (damned kashtira and lab players). Aside from that it's a hella funny deck with big dudes atk 3000+ and a great engine that when it rolls good it's a blast to play

at 7:30, if this is first turn, you mess up combo because graph's mandatory effect will pop ceruli

being a mandatory effect is really annoying sometimes

Hero player here. Learning DW right now. It’s so complicated with all the combos in my opinion. Never played a deck with that difficulty
@zephyrwargamesyugioh
@zephyrwargamesyugioh Год назад
Practice is the best way, but yeah its because there are only a couple of direct lines then everything else variates on the Build, if Your dangers are successful or not, what you draw etc. Its really fun as the outcomes are always structured but the routes to them always change keeping it fresh.
@whitesage922

one simple "keep that in mind": when you play DW u're gambling at the casino, same thing, but it's funny af when it rolls good, the engine is too funny, if you have EDOpro we may play i can give you some advices (veeeery old DW player that loves this deck hard af)

@@whitesage922 Eh, DW is one of the least luck-based decks out there. Every deck can brick, DW is the same. How is it gambling?
@ArcaneTricksterRS
@ArcaneTricksterRS Год назад
It's not that complicated. You can pick up a simpler decklist without Dangers or Triple Tactics etc and it's just straightforward. Main objective is to try and get Rank 8s out, with a Fusion Grapha and try to proc Sillva. After a couple games, you get used to the combos. Later on, you can add small pieces if you want, like Dangers. Personally I like the pure DW engine without Dangers and all that other fancy stuff, but to each their own.
@ArcaneTricksterRS
@ArcaneTricksterRS Год назад
Why play Fusion Armament when its only target is Grapha? Why not play Monster Reborn in that case and revive another DW monster to bounce for Grapha? Makes no sense.

Been mentioned a couple of times below, was a new card I wanted to test out, on review MR is by far better, it was more a left over thought from a Illusion version I was working on.

You are not playing the best lines, with this good hands it does not matter, but if you make this, make it right

What are the best lines then, its always subjective depending on situation, build, environment and RNG

hand 1, around 8:30 you probably should have destroyed Ceruli when discarding Grapha
@zephyrwargamesyugioh

@@zephyrwargamesyugioh below comment is about the second hand and the same happened during the first one. yeah, I know it wouldn't be much of a problem. just wanted to mention it in case someone is confused. so much things happen during the combo that someone new to the deck have already tons of places to feel lost 😉

All of these are irrelevant due to never knowing what interactions your op could have . Like yea, if they dont have anything sure but a bystial on silva, an ash on ur first genta is very detremental, its nice to show what the deck can do its just that it wont do it 80% of the time
@zephyrwargamesyugioh
@zephyrwargamesyugioh Год назад
Wouldn't say all are irrelevant, The idea with these videos if you see loads of things not just how to play the deck, but also where to interact should you face it. On the flip side when you drop something on the deck you don't know if the opp has more to play through it, you don't know what interactions they could have. Of course if they have 4 interruptions and a 1 card starter it happens. Overall I wouldn't say they are irrelevant you just need to broaden the scope and look at it from all angles not just the one.
