Each floor has a weakness for each wave of monsters. In this case, the monsters on floor 30 are weak against LIGHT monsters. Using LIGHT monsters deals 3 times the damage. With the DNA Transplant Trap card, this changes all attributes to LIGHT, making Obelisk to deal 3 times the damage of his 4000 ATK, equating to 12,000 of battle damage.
(Very late reply btw) That's the effect of The First Monarch - it can be used as two tributes instead of one, so you only need two monsters to tribute a card that usually requires three tributes.
The Bible says that we are all guilty of breaking the Ten Commandments of God (Romans 3:23). As a result, we all deserve to go to Hell because none is righteous, no not one. (Romans 3:10).
