major props for the voice actor able to record the lines of saying yuma's monster's names without messing up the take, cuz many of his archtypes are based on onomonapias
something tells me this duel would be way more impressive if they tackled it in the anime via an ova or movie with some sort of multiversal dual tournement plot
It's been almost 2 years since I last played this game,I'm glad to see that there're still some players that show their face down cards when they know they'll lose
hoping two soul yugi mutou (dsod) release, like when the trigger activated yugi mutou will become pharaoh atem and play mahad like in the movie Hope it get real
The ai generally doesn't register effects that activate when attacking so the ai just thought he was attacking a 2500 monster with a 0 attack one so to "get the best game state", i.e, win the duel through damage, it didnt activate utopias effect The ai can be rarded sometimes
The modern ai understands effects well enough to stop Nightmare because Zexal never attacked Yubel. The mistake isn't that it didn't activate Utopia's effect because it COULDN'T activate the effect. Utopia only stops in attack declaration. Summoning Utopia in response to Nightmare's attack creates a replay, but not another attack declaration. The ai's mistake was not summoning Utopia before, which is very hard to code into an ai when to activate a card like Halfway in open game state. I believe the ai will almost always accept phase changes and only activates cards in response, so the only other timing was Raigeki Break. If Raigeki Break targeted Coat or Halfway, the ai probably would have 'felt' threatened and summoned Utopia before, then possibly negating Nightmare's attack.
I have no idea why Zexal decided to summon a higher attack monster considering Yubel Nightmare's effect of inflicting damage based on the opposing monster's attack power, but he did, and he lost one turn quicker! I thought he might've been building up to something cooler, though.
@@sonicman4367 It seems like Utopia could've negated the attack with the cost of 1 material, but it didn't for some reason. Did he just forget to use the effect?
I know yuma as we all know him lost because of two reasons; 1. Yuma being Yuma and pulling a stupid move threw the match. 2. It's Jaden he is dueling he was gonna lose any ways
Z-one is already confirmed. At the end of the Antinomy event, Antinomy mentions that Aporia and Z-one are somewhere in duel links. Marik and Supreme King were announced the same way, so who knows how long we'll have to wait?
This duel was awesome to watch but hearing Judai AND Yubel overlay their voices on top of each other while activating her effect was just incredibly cool. Please tell me they actually do that in game and it's not just a good edit.
