Endymion actually seems to marry Artemis and make her his "empress" later on. Weirdly in the myth the 2 are based on, Artemis only vists Endymion in his sleep. It may be possible that Endymion might be being manipulated some how by Artemis or maybe even a puppet being controled since she her self is referef to as "Endymions reflection" and Endymion later on always wears a mask. Just a theory though.

As someone who has been away from the game for a little over 12 years, I’m extremely interested in the new Magistus cards adding to the Endymion/Witchcrafter lore that I’ve been bingeing the last couple of days lol

What do you anticipate the potential Zoroa archetype to be? A ritual deck as a callback to Legendary Flame Lord. A synchro deck, since he’s a tuner.

Interesting note after looking at the cards and seeing GNs video, I dont think Zorua is being trapped but Vafram is being summoned and sealed. Reference to the witchcrafter card that summons Golem Aruru and seal on his stomach not in the spell card. That was possibly their goal, to take the power of their gods. They have some object or thing related to it and could explain Zoroa not being seen as he succeeded. Crowly is arguably the only one who fails. Just a theory to think about.

Yeah this guy just makes up large chunks of lore. It’s never indicated that they aren’t aligned with Zoroa and he focuses on the Hindu religion for Vritra, but didn’t look at Zoroastrianism to see that Vahram is a nickname for one of the deities also known as verethragna which could be connected to the alias of the Vedic king of the god Indra, as he has a similar epithet and said God Indra fought the serpent called Vritra. Said deity Vahram was said to appear as an adolescent of 15. Which could be the reason behind why they gave Zoroa 1500 atk/def. Vahram alternatively appeared as a bird. Also it’s clear Vahram is supposed to represent a divinity, not a demon as seen by his name. And just taking a look at the Wikipedia page, it says that he fights humans and daemons, now that word looks like demon, but it actually means something closer to demigod and hey that’s what synchro zoroa’s title is in Japan. Something also never mentioned is that Zoroa is very clearly a shortened version of Zoroaster, the founder of the titular religion. What can we gain from this? Either Konami knows a lot more about Zoroastrianism than me or they really just looked up deity names and what they represent and crammed them into this. In terms of the actual lore of the cards, why does anybody think Zoroa is being trapped when it’s essentially the same artwork we see in Witchcrafter Masterpiece. The result of that was the body in the center is imbued with the spirit of Ninaruru and becomes the golem Aruru. In the Magistus theurgy artwork it wasn’t an object being imbued with Vahram, or Zoroa being trapped, it was a person being imbued with divinity, that person being Zoroa. So by his Japanese name, he becomes a demigod by the ritual they performed transferring Vahram into him. We also seem to see the reverse in the Rilliona Xyz artwork where Rilliona takes Ninaruru’s place in this other location as the platform in both of their artworks is the same. We see yet another similar scenario in invoked augoeides, which has interesting fusion materials and Statline and level and you realize Aleister fused with Aiwass and the spellbook tower (Aleister the Invoker + 1 Fusion Monster, 2000 atk, 2800 defense, level 8)

Great video like always, however, I believe Vahram is based on "Atash-e-Bahram". Fire is a huge part of Zoroastrianism, a religion originated from Iran. I need to mention the fact that the Atash-e-Bahram means "Bahram's fire", Bahram, or as the old Persian folks liked to call it, Varharam/Varharan is a name which has different meanings in the different cultures.This being, is the highest grade of a fire that can be placed in a fire temple as an eternal flame. So it's a holy fire that will never be faded away and the more stronger the fire is, the more honor and respect it has. Keep that in mind for later. Interestingly enough, you can easily see, even in their names, that Zoroa is based of Zoroaster, the prophet who founded Zoroastrianism. But that doesn't add up to your story, but remember, Varharam is the strongest eternal flame. My theory is that, Varharam's will power alone, stopped Zoroa from killing him, so he sealed himself in Zoroa and by the guidance of the other gods, the other Magistus main deck cards banished him to the place that he is right and after a while, he grows into legendary flame lord using the power of Varharam. We can also argue that the gods are actually real and Zoroa just seeked more power in which, he received it in the end, however, he paid a great price for it.

I just saw this vid and as well saw some old once, I really really REALLY do like what u doing here tbh. Seen that over time better and better the vids get (as in editing, memes, quality) I do like the way the vids are done and exolaning of the cards and lore. The lord part been getting better and better imo and so do expect more. Im not a big fan of the "Yugituber" that decks and talk about things out yugioh but this type of yugi vids are things I do like, Im only sub to like 4 Tubers so welcome to my subs. c:

I would like to see in the future during the late support of the archetype a "magistus reunited once again" type of card that features all the sages once again. Would also be really cool that zoroa's archetype was solely magistus but he just got disciples somewhere else and those end up being new magistus main deck monsters

I noticed there are phoenixs in Zoroa's art work, which might be a reference to the resurrection ability. His name could also be a reference to Zoroastrianism which also uses fire are a motive in their worship of the divine. (Note: they do not worship fire itself!)

Not the most optimized or cheapest. Magician soul is expensive af. Also some dogma cards are also expensive

This archetype just released in duel links. They suck. Who thought it was a good idea to release this archerype alongside orcust dingirsu. The same could be said about literally every other card in the Photon Solflare Main Box
