4:57 also trismagistus has another layer of battle protection, it's something a lot of people forget including me, and it only makes dealing with Zoroa more annoying as well

You should still have them just because it’s a cheap deck to pick up. Rilliona is a $10 card now so it’s the perfect time to pick them up before they jump up in price. Not a widely opened set like other deck building sets so card quantities on the market are sorta limited.

While I think Magistus is very fun to play, I can’t see this deck being very good to play through negations if you’re going second and it just doesn’t have the power to combat some of the top meta decks but it’s still a very cool deck nonetheless.

I disagree! The deck is very compact so you can easily drop in a handful of handtraps, nibiru and dark ruler no more to deal with boards.

I wouldn’t say that because this deck hard loses to any kind of going second strategies or popular cards like Dark Ruler No More or Evenly Matched. I figure to throw another engine into the deck might benefit it a lot.

And VFD is banned? After game 1 you can basically stop most Decks from playing at all. RR's or RR/TT only have XYZ and most Lists don't play back row removal... you win die roll and the game.
