Just got back into yugioh and my friends are dragging me to my first regional tomorrow. I love these crash course type videos that break down the meta for me. Keep up the good work!
Just to add lady's effect to summon can be activated at anytime if a normal trap or a labrynth card was activated or its effect was activated. I learned that during locals, turn player can use it to chain block welcome labrynth but yeh insane card. The labyrnth player at locals was usually summoning lady during end phase
Lady cannot chain block with any of here effects. If you activate welcome Labrynth you have to give your opponent priority to activate an effect meaning they can always ash it.
Amazing video!!! Question: How exactly do you bait evenly? If you skip Main phase 1 and skip your battle phase by ruling you move directly to end phase unless you actually activate the evenly in my understanding.
Remember that there is a ritual card that forces the opponent ro start on battle phase and there is a trap card that skips the battle phase forcing your opponents turn to be skipped
@@ghostbrosgaming yes I played against Labrynth not long ago and had a miss understanding, if you dont have a main phase AND your battle phase is SKIPPED then your turn then would end
Hey, Trunade! is also a decent option for going 2nd (doesn't stop floodgates tho, but neither does Denko). What I really hate is how broken Eradicator is in Labrynth; not only is it searchable and recyclable, but it also snipes the outs from your opponent's hand.
It’s not bad as a budget option! But I think it does less than say a denko, harpies, evenly, LS etc. really you’re probably siding 3-4 cards for this matchup so max out on one/two of those first
@@ghostbrosgaming As a Labrynth player myself, I'd argue it does more than Duster/Lightning Storm overall. It doesn't play into boo-boo game and it also works under Lord of the Heavenly Prison. Especially Lightning Storm, which can be useless against a good Labrynth player, while Duster can at least still out the floodgates. Also some other small pointers. -You can't ash Lady Labrynth's effect, so there's no real debate there, but I agree ashing the Welcome Labrynth's over Arianna. -Arianna can search any Labrynth card, not just a trap. -Chandraglier isn't usually played, but if it is, Stovie Torbie is usually played as well. -Lady Labrynth also cannot be destroyed while they have a set card, it's not only targetting. Also good to note that generally, good Labrynth players won't just shotgun cards in the standby phase unless they really bricked.
Eradicator Epidemic Virus ironically wrecks Labyrinth also, especially if Fissure or Cosmos is up or during Dimension Shifter effect or Dark Law face up
What about Trap Stun, Wiretap, Seven Tools Of Bandit, Eradicator Epidemic Virus, Dark Bribe, Heavy Storm Duster, A Wingbeat Of Giant Dragon, Solemn Strike and Warning? Also Labyrinth players use Lord Of The Heavenly Prisons to protect backrow from Harpie's Feather Duster, Lightning Storm and Twin Twister's, thank God they never run Waking The Dragon.
Haha. I came across this fact and thought it was hilarious. I would definitely hold it until the end phase if you can. That way there options for removal are limited since it’s not main phase
Yea that’s possible! But does depend on them having a arianna and you not having a way to get rid of the lady before they attack over it. Overall none of these are full auto wins.
Well the result is the same really. Lab can still activate traps while Royal decree is active. This gets the welcome lab in grave and makes lady special summon active if they drew a lab trap. You are correct though they could then solemn judgment it
