I am in tears to hear that Yui Mizuno (Yuimetal) is no longer a part of Babymetal. But we must respect her decision and keep on supporting Babymetal and the band. Been awhile Lou hope you still remember me so I'm gonna cut straight to the chase... I do not care for this Darkside and Chosen 7 Anymore the only thing that is keeping me to support BABYMETAL is Suzuka and Moa that's it Yui leaving is one thing i'm not even mad about that it was her choice so I have accepted that all i care about is that she is happy whatever career she pursues in life but the new outfits for the Japan World Tour are an absolute eyesore the hair is repulsive the outfits are weird there are too many girls than necessary honestly the outfits and the two side dancers they had for the US and UK World Tour are world's better... So as long as Su & Moa are still there leading the pack I just have to except this new BABYMETAL but it is going to take me a long while... Starlight is absolutely beautiful tho 10/10 in my book what about you?
Hey@@JinSeiryuu - good to hear from you. I was never a fan of the Chosen 7 as you know and I do blame the controllers for taking this dark path. As for Yui, while so many are talking illness and injury I remain confirmed that it was her refusal to spread this message of fear and hopelessness to her fans that eventually led to her departure. I am through making predictions of future Babymetal. They will go wherever the new controllers take them and I wish them well. I do think that without Yui, they should consider a name change. Even something as subtle as Babeemetal vs Babymetal, but that's just me. I am mixed on Starlight. If it was a tribute to Mikio or Yui, who knows. But I would have preferred a song more in the nature of 'No Rain, No Rainbow' or 'Amore' as a Mikio tribute but again, that's just me. The fact that it was released at the exact moment Yui's letter came out was just another example of Amuse Inc. try to manipulate the fans. Minimizing the response of Yui's departure with a Mikio tribute was basic PR 101 manipulation. What made me a Babymetal fan was the whole package (especially messaging) of their music. Koba had it nailed but I fear they took control from him with the Chosen 7. I will never be a blind follower of anything Babymetal as one fan said "I would pay to see Su ride a tricycle across the stage" or another, "I'd pay to watch them put up drywall". As they did in the past, they will have to earn my fandom through their achievements. I can put up my own drywall.
@@loukraft7322 yeah I honestly think Koba has butchered his own masterpiece at this point but again I love Su & Moa so much that it pains me to see them head down this route just because they are Adults now who the hell say adults are dark and gloomy anyway? So only for those two I will continue to support them when they leave I'm done. What about you?

My heart weeps that she is leaving BABYMETAL, yet overjoyed that she is not gone altogether. I wish her all the best and hope she is back to full strength as soon as possible. Lots of love and hugs to her.

Look Babymetal still pushed through with only two cores Su and Moa. Aren't you noticing it they could have easily replaced Yui from the deep pool of sakura gakuin members or graduates. They still kept her spot. Yui will be recovering for now, while she recuperate she'll be doin less strenuous gigs like acting and modeling. As time comes she's ready, babymetal will accept her back wholeheartedly. This will all happen for the 10th aniversary of Sakura Oh/ ju on bu come 2020.. Yuimetal will be back!

BABYMETAL has always been Su, Yui and Moa. Now BABYMETAL is Su and Moa. I would like to see Yui replaced. I know the three girls were close and I knew in the back of my mind that things could change as the girls grew older. Maybe Su and Moa don't want Yui replaced, and that is okay. But I'm sure in all of Japan there is many talented young ladies that would love to step in for Yui. I think it could be a member from Sakura Gakuin. Makes sense to me. I will always be a fan of BABYMETAL and I will follow Yui as she decides what to do with her life.
Thank you for posting this so I don't have to. I agree 100% with everything. It would be logical to introduce a new 3rd member, since most of the choreography would have to be completely reconstructed. My first choice would be Marina or Hinata (Saint Snow is like BABYMETAL jr). But with the Sakura Gakuin talent machine, also staying in the Amuse family, I don't doubt they could find a young replacement who could represent the future of the group. At some point, Su and Moa will likely want to try different things, and I've become more open to having new members carry on the name in perpetuity. Most importantly, I look forward to Yui getting out from under the BABYMETAL corporate machine. These girls are kept in such seclusion, I worry they lost their childhood and are about to lose their young adulthood.
She's not in her best condition since last year. She wanted to return to the band but she couldn't with her current condition and the band had to keep going on tours with or without her. So it's best for her to quit and rest instead of pushing herself and not properly recovered at all.
Yui metal left the band October 2017 she has not been seen since. soon after Yui leaves the band Mikio dies from a fall at an observatory/ suicide? Where is Yui right now? My gut tells me something is very wrong. I have been through similar circumstances in my life. From my experience I believe Yui is Gone!
