Kinda feel like it is this way since it doesn’t really matter whether you date one, all or neither, since you end up Door-kun, and as such there’s no issue with spin offs having to maintain the status quo, but I see it as difficult since, say, if you were to make P5 strikers with completed social links in mind, it would be canon that either the MC friend zoned every girl, is dating every girl, or you would have to make a canon ship, which, as much as I would like to see Makoto as the canon ship, and as much as it feels like it, I understand why it isn’t that way, same with P4

​@theannoyedlink5153 Yeah, Atlus seems really careful about not making a Canon ship, even if it's very obvious, in vanilla 5 at least, that its makoto, to avoid alienating the other girls fans. It's very annoying, so hopefully it'll change somewhat in 6, but i won't had my breath. I'd love to be able to set up your friends though, like Kanji and Naoto or Ryuji and Ann. That's my most wanted feature in P6 tbh

Rise also was very open, but in her case she was open she liked you so it wasn't big change.

I can't remember if P4 did it this way, but imagine a game that really takes inventory of your relationships and has random sequences where you're caught with another girl and your social link with either or both of them tank as a result lol

Alright, let me talk to you about Yukari here. Of course she has trust issues because she's always been around people she couldn't trust. Her mom, mitsuru, and even akihiko, to some extent. Not to mention that she tells the story of a friend she used to have that one day just wanted nothing to do with her anymore. So yeah, she has full right to have trust issues and have difficulty trusting even her own boyfriend.

Some of the interactions during sundays can get ... Weird... If you even show slight closeness to other girls Fuuka can confront you about it out of the blue. Mitsuru can throw small hints that she is suspicious (before rank 8, and after rank 6) and can ask you directly if you are up to something and your answer can actually impact the outcome of your social link, even locking you into platonic. Sunday go outs are mine fields.

The only thing I saw where someone acknowledged you dating someone was Kaz mentioning that you are dating Yuko on the last day.

Yes, if you romance Yukari then friendzone Fuuka, this scene will trigger. Do keep in mind that you need to romance Yukari FIRST, before friendzone Fuuka. And as far as I know, only Yukari and Fuuka has this interaction.

This was not in the original as the original didn't have a friendzone route. This will only happen if you friendzone Fuuka but romance Yukari. If you friendzone Yukari, in this rank you'll only hear her talk about Junpei.
