Oni and Anubis are the only two lower-leveled personas in Persona 3 Reload that have no weaknesses and don't require maxing any social links to unlock. Edit: - Crit Rate Boost and Crit Rate Amp DO NOT stack. This video was made before that information was discovered and confirmed thanks to the modding community. However, Apt Pupil and Crit Rate Amp DO stack as the former is a multiplicative and the latter being an additive effect to the base critical rates. - The Merciless no DLC lowest turns record has been brought down to 5 turns! The strat for this utilizes the 'King and I' fusion spell on Elizabeth's vulnerability to ice after using Surt. However, this requires the 'Magic Mastery' passive to work, which is unfortunate, because that skill is mutation only and is not inheritable. But anyways, shoutouts to youtube.com/@bothdoorscares3878 for discovering the strat!
Bro I am on my first run and maxed out of links and and got the the compendium to 98% this is my only challenge left I hope to beat her with your tactics
Awesome strat! That repel to push her under 10k is a marvelous touch. It's like mocking the boss by triggering her trap card right before pulling out your Exodia.
Back in base p3 for the ps2, it was the only way to ever beat her. You needed a calculator to watch her health and High Counter since physical repel personas were always weakness exploited. Theurgy wasn't a thing back then, there was only the protagonist knowing fusion spells and nobody else. Y'all are so spoiled to beat such a heavily nerfed superboss
@@savagecabbage1184 Nah, as someone who beat the original superboss on Hard this fight is way tougher. You do pitiful damage on Merciless, her phase 2 is a 3 turn damage check that's really tough to pass due to your low damage, she shocks you and freezes you all the time wasting your turns, and you have to let her heal now rather than cheesing it with high counter.
@@Hunk322 First of all, you need to be at level 99 with main character, obviously. If you're killing Reaper over and over and/or collect 'respawning' items on F220+ of Tartarus, money will never be a problem. You will have several mil yens, which you can use to buy gems and trade for incense items. Now, as you can see in this video, he had max stats on 4 personas - Saki Mitama (Debilitate), Oni (Scarlet Havoc), Anubis (Akasha Arts), and Helel (Morning Star). Now, I can't say that I did much experents, and I don't know how important other stats are in this particular fight, but I do know that the power of Scarlet Havoc comes from STR and MAG stats combined. So, when you trigger that theurgy with whatever persona you have (Zrego used Oni, i used Siegfried), make sure that this particular persona has both STR and MAG at max. Equipped skills are way more important, and Fuuka needs to use this particular skills after which you get *Party is charged and focused!* message before you use Akasha Arts skill. If she raises you STR / DEF etc you probably won't deal enough damage with Akasha Arts. Armageddon is always dealing 9999 damage.
@@Hunk322 I don't know where the hell is my answer to you. I wrote it, posted it, and I don't see it anywhere. The power of Scarlet Havoc (used in this vid) is a result of STR and MAG stats combined, meaning you do need to max both STR and MAG for maximum damage. I'm not sure how much other stats affect damage or do they even affect it because I didn't experiment. But if you're grinding levels by killing Reaper, and if you collect all those respawnable treasures on Floors 220+ in Tartarus, you should have enough yen to buy lots of gems and turn them into incense items. But to answer your question, yes, I maxed stats on Mitama, Siegfried (I used that instead or Oni), the Akasha Arts persona and on Helel, but not on Arahabaki.
this strat will work but its still very up to RNG whether its successful or not. Havoc must crit, her jack frost must not up her defense, fuuka theurgy must give you concentrate, and akasha arts must crit and hit twice, if none of these things happen this strat will not work, so to everyone out there... just keep trying
I can't take it anymore. I'm sick of Anubis. I try to use Siegfried. My Anubis deals more damage. I try to play Junpei. My Anubis deals more damage. I try to play Aigis. My Anubis deals more damage. I want to use Oni. His best team has Anubis. I want to kill Elizabeth - Makoto wants Anubis. He grabs me by the throat. I grind for him. I fuse for him. I give him Crit Rate Boost. He isn't satisfied. I get Apt Pupil. "I don't need this much crit rate," he tells me. "Give me more stats." He grabs Shinji and forces him to throw himself off the Reaper. "You just need to funnel me more. I can deal more damage with 99 stats." I can't play in the arcade, I don't have enough yen. He grabs my credit card. It declines. "Guess this is the end." He grabs Makoto. He says "I am thou, thou art I." There is no hint of sadness in his eyes. Nothing but pure, no elemental weaknesses. What a cruel world.
For the gods hand reflect does the difficulty need to be merciless? I've been testing this method on peaceful and Elizabeth never does enough damage to herself to get below half.
Repel damage is calculated assuming that the caster is hitting themselves. And as the enemies got a damage buff in difficulties greater than normal, the repel damage gets increased as well. Yeah that's a factor. At that point, you're better off doing a one shot Scarlet Havoc in two turns. Since Peaceful allows that to happen.
Great vid man I wonder if you could make it one turn shorter (skipping Anubis) if you used Cendrillon for Scarlet Havoc You should try DLC personas and show us how faster this gets haha
I was able to get around 9K-ish after Debilitate with Scarlet Havoc and Cendrillon on a crit on hard - not sure if it'd be significantly different on Merciless. I suppose if you could shave off the Debilitate turn, and had enough damage without it (Maybe Black Viper would help get the damage where it needs to go in Phase 2) it might be able to get cut down to 4 turns. I might see what can be done on a Merciless run but the thought of having to grind fusions to get Almighty Amp is a bit daunting.
Looking at this, this is the limit of no DLC Merciless. allowing Drivers would be the idea but it can only reduce it by 1 turn only. No Debilitate is probably not the best idea. 1.4x damage increase for two attacks (One being Scarlet Havoc) is much more significant compared to another attack. And there's no Vulnerability to exploit in the first turn. Unless maybe you can pop off Scarlet Havoc twice somehow. But I'd guess that's not good enough to reduce by 1 turn. Tie it at best.
Me walking in lvl 99 with Messiah on peaceful so I can revive no matter what she throws at me: "Come on, how hard can it be? I practically beat the reaper effortlessly" Very hard is the answer. No sorry I meant absolute horseshit is the answer.
Regular almighty attacks can be dodged. Elizabeth has 2 versions of Megidolaon, a normal version of it that does the normal damage and can be dodged. While the other is a special one that deals fixed 9999 damage and has a fixed 100% accuracy and therefore cannot be dodged, Ali Dance doesn't even affect this one.
Found the most consistent way for me with my wacko setup. SH crit for 6.3k, debilitate, Brave blade for 1.5k crit, morning star for 1200, megi gem for 200, repel 900.
@@vivissimus Either save Messiah to the compendium right before 99, delete him after getting the item and buying him back, or you can just fuse Messiah again and level it up again to get another item
Had a question about the Gods Hand reflect…your damage is much higher than mine at ~1,200 where I’m at 800 or so…what stat determines the damage difference?
It could be that enemies hit harder on higher difficulties, in my case merciless, and therefore increasing their own repelled damage. Or that you used Debilitate instead of Rakunda prior to the repel, Debilitate debuffs the enemies' atk and so their own repelled damage will be lower too.
@@Zrego I appreciate that man. Seems like when I use CHARGE before hand, the repelled God's Fist will do around 1,100 ... I'll keep in mind the debilitate factor. Have done multiple testing. As far as damage on different difficulties, I can confirm, but it's the other way around. I'm playing on hard, and when I go to Normal, God's Fist repel does more damage.
@@ZregoWould that mean you have a higher chance of accidentally killing yourself on peaceful difficulty (since you're doing a lot more damage to the enemy)
Repel damage is basically simulating the caster hitting themselves. Since enemy damage is buffed, it stands to reason that repel damage is also increased. It doesn't seem to scale off of any stat apart from the debuffs you put on her.
i just beat my merciless playthrough and want to start another with a 6 or 5-turn elizabeth kill. Do you have any advice for how to min-max more efficiently? apart from just farming the reaper lol. cool video and strategy btw. i love players who do fun stuff like this
So enduring soul works for different personas? I always thought enduring soul work only once the moment the perdona uses it, regardless if another persona has it.
I see he use one enduring soul and one endure. So endure can work regardless if enduring soul was use? And if so for this strat does it need enduring soul and endure on the same persona?
There are some theories that say you can one shot her with scarlet havoc + cendrillon DLC on normal mode. It was proven on peaceful but no one attempted it on normal yet.
How you made 5000 damage with theurgy? Because i have same setup with sigfried with max Fr stat but i reach only 2500 dmg , or it because isnt at lvl 99?
How come your starting persona is Saki Mitama instead of using Lucifer for all the Auto buffs? You don't get the Auto buffs just from having Lucifer in your currently held personas do you? You have to start the fight with him to get the Auto effects?
@@ArchipagoLPs I did a ton of reaper beating sessions and I got charge and concentrate from Fuuka like 7/10 times, I always start with 3 auto-ma on the protagonist.
Going to tartarus almost every night in January (since I had nothing to do at night), and keep on collecting Major Arcana cards that grant max HP/SP upgrades for the protagonist and the party.
You can use Thanatos or Messiah but be careful as both have drain and reflect Your best and cheapest option is likely to be Resist Phys Thanatos N’s because he’s at a much higher level and has higher stats that’s less incense cards needed
The God's Hand repel is indeed punished, shown by the 9999 Megidolaon right after it, this is tanked with Endure (bringing her to below 9999hp so the final phase can be skipped) Enduring soul is activated for the first Megidolaon when her hp reaches below 13k (2nd phase) Enduring Soul and Endure procs seperately The way this skip works is that it abuses the way rule breaking is punished. By repelling her God's Hand, it brings her below 9999hp through her own attack. The Megidolaon punish is immediately brought out without her using Diarahan as well for some reason, and she ends her turn right there allowing the player to use Armageddon to kill her before she heals.
@@castia8421 If you reflect/absorb/null any of her attacks, she gains a 3rd action which uses her insta kill. Afterwards, she spams Diarahan > Megidolaon assuming you survive.
@@rahmansepti540 using a mod that allows all skills to be inherited can allow this. It's very much doubtful that this kind of thing is possible in normal gameplay. Unless that was done on console, that's very doubtful.
How did you build that Saki Mitama? Seems like 4 skills is the max that a persona can inherit and I've only been able to find skill cards for concentrate, charge, and resist phys. How did you manage to fuse with those specific skills?
You'd have to find Heat Riser/Debilate from locked chests in Tartarus. Resist Light and Dark can only be inherited through Black Frost and Anubis respectively.
I originally thought this was NG+ hence all the personas at 99 stats, but I read that compendium doesnt carry over into NG+, how did you get all your personas up to those stats? was it gem grind for incense cards?
@@KayXiro Yeah if I want to carry over, I have to play hard or lower, honestly it's sad but that means I can test one shot Liz in normal mode or lower lmfao
Hello, i've tried to get auto-charged and concentrate on Cup card in shuffle time, but i didn't get it until now. What card is the cup to get Auto Charged and Concentrate? Is it J or Q? Can it be achieve by defeating regular shadow or Reaper only? Great video btw! thanks in advance!
@@rakarespati5074 ah, i’ve been spending too much time in tartarus just to get that, but yeah. I didn’t get it a single time, but it’s all good, all i wanted to do is to defeat the elizabeth, i still follow like the video told me, but it took longer than 7 turns and its okay. Thank you for letting me know tho!
@@noob-kun7768 yeah, i was in arcana burst but yep, unlucky. But i managed to defeat the elizabeth but took more than 7 turn, but same strategy and same persona like Zrego. Thank you!
No there are certain conditions, low sp or hp can trigger regen, high sp or health will mostly be status effects, very rarely she can give you charge and concentrate.
@@rakarespati5074 Fuuka can and will give you charge/concentrate even if you only use one of the two. It's very frustrating during the Elizabeth fight.
@@rakarespati5074 At least that sets you up for an attack and you can use an item in place of set up. I had her give me regen when I was at full health and still had 300 sp. (Which was half of it so it procced)
trash battle because it requires a walkthrough / guide 100%, there's no way someone is going to figure out when Diaharan starts happening without doing this...then again Armageddon shouldn't exist in this fight either lol
