In this VladTV exclusive, Yukmouth spoke on topics like how “I Got 5 On It” came about, along with the song making history once it dropped. Yukmouth said he knew the song was gonna hit in their town and revealed The Luniz made the song in 1993 and kept it on tuck until its release. He also said brought the hook and record they sampled to their producer Tone, who hooked up the beat.Along with that, Yukmouth spoke on Jordan Peele using “I Got 5 On It” in the trailer for his upcoming film Us.

The original leak that dropped in 1994 right after "Formally Known as Lunitunz" had them saying "biotch" in the hook. There were three different versions before Operation Stackola was released. They took the "biotch" off when the radio started playin it and the radio version ended up on the album
