Thanks for saving me $500+ that dealership wanted...hardest was releasing the harnest connection underneath...ebay light was $35...good video and thanks again
Led taillights going out is common. Dealers quoted me $750 each for new ones. Bought replacements for $300 each from a guy who make a living repairing these. Installation is easy a couple of screws and snapping the wiring connector. Worked fine for 3 plus years now.
Respectfully, I have never had any luck with third party, non OEM light assemblies; like, never. I hope yours work out well for you! Thanks for all the hard work you do creating most excellent content.
Great video, just changed my wife's tailight with these instructions and it was exact! The clip was tricky just like he mentioned so thanks for that too!
That's why I like old cars. You just change a light bulb, and that's it. The problem from all these new cars that they are of LED strips. And these tall lights are really expensive.
Hello Danny, any videos or help with buying & changing the headlight assembly? I have a LED strip starting to go dim and I want to change it. I’m a new YUKON XL owner and your videos are GREAT!!
Hey Danny, I have a quick question, I’m new into owning a Yukon and I wanted to ask you if you had any problems with shuddering when accelerating or any problems with vibrations/shaking on the cabin?
That is a common issue with the 8 speed transmissions, so if that’s what you have a good fix has been the Mobil 1 fluid and a filter change for the transmission. I have a video on it with the fluid in the video description ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Bu_isDRd9lI.htmlsi=ihIxRSsz8PbQ-dAt
Irritating that it has to be under milage requirements when they know its a known defect. I bought mine used and the previous owner didn't do the recall replacement. My huaband has already fixed them once. We have trim pieces lose on the back doors (the black plastic) behind the window. It tries to fly off on the highway. Any problems with yours?
Luckily my trim pieces are in place and the tail lights are in snug. He might need to add additional self tapping screws near the other screws or something. It is frustrating
Mine are not electric, but I would look at the motion sensors near them (clean them) or see if there is something causing them to be in default mode where they won’t open because it thinks the car is moving or again a blocked sensor etc
