Do you know what happens with the 1st of anything? It always needs to be fine because the first of anything is not always the best. In other words, anybody with this scooter will be a guinea pig
The stuff Fedex makes their drivers deliver alone is pretty crazy. I ordered a new bed awhile ago and it came unassembled, but the box was about 220 lbs. The poor guy couldn't even get it out of his truck.
@@BoozySZN Yeah it's not an easy job. Some of those guys are super human. I had a dishwasher shipped to me once and the guy showed up with it on his shoulder like it weighed about 20 lbs.
I'm genuinely impressed. Was waiting for someone to confirm the top speed with gps. Not as quick as a nami or kaabo wolf but the 50ah battery and water cooled controlers are fantastic. (coming from a Wolf GTR owner myself)
I'm going to call this a half truth... Let's run them 5 miles at high speed and test acceleration again... I bet the liquid cooling continues to be the same and the other scooters start to decline as heat enters the system. So in that sense what you are stating are cold figures... Let's test them in the real world... When they get ridden hard and see who maintains during the ride
It's so cool that you guys do genuine reviews with pros and cons, unlike so many of the shills flooding youtube. Pls keep up the good work. Just one piece of friendly input, crescent wrench ≠ box wrench, but still got what you meant.
@@AJCoReVlogssorry about your scooter. I got a Swagtron 1 (it doesnt even break 20 mph on 8 inch solid tires), and the only time i repaired it was by removing one of the skrews from the decelerator. Idk why that skrew sticked my lever but it fixed it- really thats the worst if it just breaks
I have a Raptor. Got about 200 miles on it. Its very nice. Decent range and good speed. I'm about 290 lbs and it still performs quite well. Only thing I did to it was put slime in the tires.
As much as you want to hate on the dead zone with the thumb throttles it’s there for a very good reason. If you had no dead zone, when you hit a bump your throttle input would change so much that the controllers could be overworked thus overheating them. Without the dead zone and also because when you hit a bump your thumb always pulls back off the throttle, you will most of the time never be pushing the throttle to max for near fractions of a second (very quick and jarring power changes) allowing no overheating. It’s really dumb though because they could fix it all if they just allowed you to adjust the compressions of whatever spring is in them.
YUME has a P setting that controls the power output from a stop. It’s normally set to low or mid which is why you feel that sluggish delay. Turn that off and you get the instant take off.
I have a Yume Hawk Pro and I love it. My only complaint would be, although it is fun, I can see that it isn't tops in build quality. I think Yume did a great job here addressing that. I'm looking forward to seeing more from Yume in the future.
Yume definitely deserves some love there value for how much you get is unmatchable with most other companies. Plus there ev style battery which dramatically improves the lifespan of the battery.
They've come along way since the coil suspension days only if they were more a front runner in scooter designs instead playing catch-up with everyone else, but they've put everyone to shame with their finger throttle design one of the best yet, if you've come from a MTB background, you know this makes absolute sense to have the throttle there
AWESOME!!! I was actually wondering about a week ago if you guy where going to review this one. Too heavy for me to lift as I have stair to navigate but very nice rig. Cheers!
1:27 The Kafuter tube is a sealant. Since you have to assemble the deck by yourself, I guess they packed it so you can weatherproof the scooter better.
Seems like a good scooter for the class is fighting in. Water cooled controllers needs to be a norm. Great job Yume. Actually hits 60moh too gps confirmed
Hey guys !! I've watched a ton of your reviews and I feel you give it to us straight. So with that being said i have a question for ya. What scooter would you purchase with a $2000 budget ?
Agreed 100%, I've been researching as well and I see this as well. I've done hours and hours of research, praying to almighty God that he leads me to the correct decision. And so I'm in between the Teewing Mars XTR or the Nanrobot LS7 72v OR last resort is the Wolf King gt pro ( the reason why I say the Kaabo King GT pro is the last resort is because the scooters are butt ass ugly. They are so thuggish looking, so ghetto looking, and the whole stigma that comes with them is just... 🤢) After hours and hours of research, I've also come to the conclusion that if you truly want to be stable going 35 miles per hour plus on the road, do you need a dual stem scooter. Anything that is not built around the geometry of a dual stem scooter, should have a steering damper already included with the price. The steering damper included, shows you that there is a design flaw and that's why scooter manufacturers that make dual stem scooters have realized that, and they don't need a steering damper. It is unacceptable to pay $2,500 + for a scooter that has a death wobble
I'm on an ebike that can do 29 - 32kph on flats, loaded with groceries last night i tried to race a kid on his scooter who was at the same light as me, dude took off I couldn't catch up. These things can ZIP. The suspension on them is technically better than my bike too, I have to go gentle with my 2inch roadtires over any bump. These scooters are like tanks.
E Bicycles aren't meant to compete with these. Myiddrive EMTB would get smoked by almost any E scooter, but I get a workout, and have incredible range for battery aH I run. Plus ground clearance and carrying capacity ;)
Have you guys tried the YUME Raptor? I’m interested in purchasing one, but not many real reviews on it yet… seen maybe 2 or 3 at most, but some in depth review would be awesome
The one thing you forgot to mention was the automotive grade battery cells. They state will last 4x longer than traditional Samsung/LG packs. Panasonic EV cells, 20 units of individual 3.6V totalling 72v50ah, 2000+ charge cycles 😮
I have a Yume x7 that only has 30kms on it and it is totally dead . A real piece of crap. I bought a Mantis King GT and it has been flawless . Yume uses low quality parts - buyer beware .
The Predator and Raptor are a completely different level of scooter than what they were doing before. These are seemingly their own design while the previous ones were based on pre-existing low-quality Chinese designs. That being said, I'm still not willing to be a beta tester for their very first new products.
God damn, this scooter looks like it was made for tall people! 6'4" 200 pounds, this thing looks like it'd be a DREAM for someone like me. :DDD That said, I would like to see range tests out of you guys. Definitely need to start putting these companies' claims to the test. Personally, I think if I'm going to buy a top level mode of transportation like this, I'm going to ride fast all the time. That's what I do on my Mantis V2 and the range claims flat out are NOT there. I can get like... 12 miles maybe when riding at full blast all the way.
I have a Tif Galop K8, $1300 (after discount code) and it's got a 60v 38ah battery with dual 3000w motors, it takes me up to 57mph, probably even faster off the line than this because its a square wave lol although I do love how smooth your acceleration is, it is a better powered vehicle I'll give you that, and the tread on thise tires is something all companies should definitely start taking after, but I love the body build of my K8 way more, super visible at night and even have it perfectly set to do Doordash easily on with a foodbag hooked to a bike rack I mounted to the seat post, straight replaced my Mercedes 🤣 the Predator is definitely a glorious rig, but I'd say for the money I'd just save towards a WEPED lol personally i want one of their new Chrome Night E-motorcycles, f*ckin 11 grand tho, but will be soooo worth it 🥹
Those big knobby tires are probably killing the acceleration. I was wondering how well it performed off-road being it's so big and heavy. Probably not as good off-road as the GTR, but the usable deck on the GTR is so small and with below par IPX rating and they are not honest about the true battery AH (it's lower than 35Ah) so that kills that deal for me. Much better off with the RS with off-road tires and raising the deck. The Predator's handlebar height is just too tall for most people. For speed, it needs to be closer to your hips, not upper stomach area. Also wondering if they have a road version tire other than the nylon CSTs everyone uses.
I definitely also wish it had a shorter stem (I'm all of 5'8 so this stem is really tall for me) and road tires. You can buy CST road tires in that size but there aren't a whole lot of options like there are in the 11" models and PMT seemingly doesn't make a tire that fits yet.
@@KevinPassino I spoke with PMT, they have no plans on a 13" tire anytime soon. However, I'm sure as 13" scooters become more popular, they might have a change of heart. I know they'll be super expensive when they do, and if they're not thick enough, it'll will be more prone to flats with the softer compound. My 11" PMT T41 Slicks are awesome, but I don't ride it on sketchy roads.
I believe a 13-inch street tire version is coming very very soon as an option to purchase. 😉 Unfortunately it seems that you can't swap between either tires due to the motor rims options at the moment. There really aren't many 13 inch tires on the market and to accommodate the only street tire, a different sized rim is required.
I would love to see you guys make a video with the solar 2.0 black edition people need to know about this scooter and the way you guys break things down. I would love to see a video on it🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼💯👑👑
Can it harness the ot of of the sun for further range? I want one I can charge with my muscles and body weight but pedaling the hell out of it every now and then, how can they store our energy
Ηi guys!! 🙋 Well done to Yume for continue upgrade their scooters!!!👏👏 One thing you didn't say and it's respectable... Is about the battery pack!! This pack has CATL cells (20s1p) very LONG life cells (2000 charges)...!!👌 Also about motors are : 60H with high speed winding 22×3 (same with Dualtron Thunder 1-2, or ultra 2..) that means if you change to 11 inches street tires (much better PMT) you will have better acceleration and little more top speed!!😉 Very good review!!!😘
@@antonypartaliYou're right! Same type of cells and configuration, just Panasonic branded. The specs are slightly different from the original supplier, but 2000 recharge cycles before reaching 80% capacity is no joke! One of the main reasons I bought this scooter.
Yeah I try to let the fed ex guys know that I am going to be home to help them. I would be really angry if I was a driver and was being expected to deliver stuff like this by myself with no lift gates or anything.
It’s called you get what you pay for obviously it Ain’t no kaabo or road runner but also it ain’t the cheap old technology they had / have in the last couple years!
He’ll no! These guys are the most honest in the game. FYI, the Yume scooters weren’t even that bad before. This one still managed to improve a lot. Is it a Wolf King GTR, Burn-E, or RX7? No, but for the price it’s really good. And it actually does some things better than the other scooters, like cooling for the controllers.
5 sec to 30 mph yea its not acceleration beast but top speed very high 👍🏻 me ut108 v2 clock 3,5 sec to 30 mph 👍🏻 but topspeed only 50 mph vs this 63 mph 👍🏻☕️
I checked with them, It uses a super low conductivity anti freeze fluid in the tubes. Cooling system isn't because the controllers can't handle the heat. It's because it keeps performance at optimum levels at all times in all weather conditions and during long extended runs.
@@KayBurnI'll simply say this scooter was designed to function the way you want to ride it... I call it the Florida scooter because it's always hot here and we can always ride, 12 months a year. This scooter is made for year round riding in any heat. Pretty cool
Dude you did not put a yume in the same class as the x limited.... ive been ran over on my x limited by a work van and rode home, ive seen yumes fold going over potholes.
Im sure the cost is good even if it may not be affordable. 63mph on a scooter, with 0-40 at around 8 seconds? Its a jack of all traits besides its weight, 170lbs is heavyyy for an escooter
😂😂 AH yea I have one, amongst many others.... Many corners cut when building this scooter...My other scooters and E Bikes has held up way better than my Yume. The nuts and bolts they use on this scooter literally disintegrates when trying to do work on it smdh
Need you guys to review the ausom leopard if you havent already. I might be getting it middle of next month but dont know if i ahould wait longer and save more for a kaabo king wolf gt or mantis pro
I got the master which is slightly less top speed its reallly nice but i think saving up more would be better, bigger tires, bigger range , speed, more likely to not get stolen
Fessed employees are only required to lift 100 pounds yes they are careless with packages but I’d say 98% of the time you get your product in perfect condition they are packaged good not like they should be I mean it weighs as much as a sub 200cc motorcycle or scooter and isn’t in a metal crate like a motorcycle
how fast is it in 1st gear is there any speed limiting im considering this for doordash but i need to be able to do only 15 and 25 mph when needed is there any way we can get some data on the top speeds in the 3 gears with the speed limiting cables plugged in
For the price I’d still get 10 other scooters before this scooter. For the price you can basically get an InMotion RS or a Kaabo wolf king GTR FOR ONLY A COUPLE HUNDRED MORE, so why label this the most affordable bla bla bla? There’s no way I’d drop 3600 on this when I can get a gtr or an RS for 4 hundred more
My only issue with these scooters is they are too tall off the ground even for a taller person you gotta get used to how far you have to bend you knee to push it with your foot and yes I push mine with my foot sometimes even with a charge it’s a good work out and it charges the batteries I mean probably not a measurable amount or if it is probably not much per 100 feet you push it but are you sure there isn’t a eco mode or something turned on the scooter is electric I feel like you should be able to change the settings to get all the power at once mine I had to change the p setting to get instant throttle response the reason they ship it with delay is cause they say if you do full throttle it with instant power too often it can burn the motors so I usually ride in eco I can still do 40mph and tbh I don’t go over 30 off road the suspension on mine is about the same as yours maybe cheaper or less quality but they suck at absorbing impacts i usually bunny hop of anything rough in the road only way to not almost get thrown off
Damn, this looks great in terms of quality and performance. Shame it's meant to be used on roads not offroading :( it would be perfect for my needs if it has fork front suspension. How would you compare it to Kaabo Wolf GTR in terms of build quality?
No, he sold it. And a new scooter he gets and reviews, you'll probably sell it as well. This is how he makes his living I think, which is great. Overall the review is very good
