Patrick doesn't realize it yet, but this is why Yumiella has been training him: because he doesn't run away from her. In short, he's *already* stronger than her.
I kinda like her dress. It suits her so much and you can tell that whoever designed that dress really took a loon on her character and didn’t just give her an over abundant dress with frills. And looks like Yotsuba Miya. From mahouka minus the red eyes.
And that's why we love the queen (Edwin's mom) in the novel she ask yumelia what she thinks of her parents and she said that she's not sure since she doesn't know them. The queen was about to adopt yumelia but she knew she would refuse so she told yumelia that she could see her like a mother and to come visit whenever she wanted. And then BOOM chooses the perfect dress for Yumelia when her real mother doesn't even seem to know her daughters age. Viva la reina
She already attracts a lot of attention for having black hair which is feared and looked down upon in the setting, Wearing more black clothing will do nothing to improve the way she appears to other people. Not to mention that almost no other woman here is wearing dark colors in their dresses. Even the red dress she is wearing is wearing is a far darker color palette than most of the other people who are mostly wearing either white or pastels.
The anime is "The girl from the other side " or "Totsukuni no shojo" It has two OVAs from 2019 and 2022 , the first, has one episode the other has three. Pretty wholesome watch reminiscent of "the magus bride" and amazing animation from wit studio. Also please drop a sub for more clips :-)
The part about the girl stealing Alicia's things and Yumilia's flashback are the most boring parts of the published manga so far. All mangas/anime and all fiction in general would be so much better if authors would put an end to this conceit that black-haired female characters should always be unhappy and insecure and female characters with light hair colors should always be happy and confident. The entertainment industry seriously isn't going to come crashing down if you start writing stories about successful sociable black-haired women and weak miserable blonde women who can't succeed at anything on their own.
The one in the outro? The anime is "The girl from the other side " or "Totsukuni no shojo" It has two OVAs from 2019 and 2022 , the first, has one episode the other has three.
