Not really, sure he focused more on the celebrity life, but he made really good recordings and live performances (spread out over the years, with occasional meh performances). His 4 Ballades on the Carnegie Hall, 4 Scherzi recordings, 19 Nocturnes, Beethoven famous sonatas, they're all really good.
But tbh there’s something about about how he was in 2000 that just captures my mind a lot more. I know it probably wasn’t, but in my mind that was his peak. His Andante Spianato and Grande Polonaise Brillante Op. 22 was the best I’ve ever heard
