Really happy that this video has skyrocketed in views in the past couple of months. I'm absolutely in love with your timing in the visual changes relative to the beat of the song, this song has so many layers of rhythm that you took into account while editing it this is without a shadow of a doubt your most hypnotic edit. Thank You
I have no idea why this is suddenly showing up in the recommendation feed for so many people, but I'm glad they seem to enjoy it. Highly rhythmic songs like this one are a lot of fun/work to edit to. I really appreciate insightful comments like yours. Thank you.
@@JohaQ just came across this in my recommended, amazing edit, like OP said, your ability to mix the music and visuals is absolutely stunning. Subbed, keep it up ^.^
Edit: As of 7/2/2019, this is no longer my last edit. Now I look like an idiot. I want to be clear that this is not a return to edits. This is a sequel of sorts to my first Yung Bae edit that I started working on in April, but then promptly abandoned. A few days ago I was rewatching what little progress I had made, and I decided to properly finish it once and for all. I hope you enjoy this one last edit. Peace.
I love how they used the golden wind reveal, fits perfectly into the transitions, same with everything else, who ever made this edit is fucking amazing and deserves love.
Yung Bae is prob the most underrated music artist. His music has meaning even if it doesnt have words. It brightens my mood even if it the most random thing on the planet.
I love listening up until 2:48 and then dragging it back to 1:25 to have that refreshing burst all over again. Essentially making this master piece even longer. It has to be precise but the transition from 2:48 back to 1:25 is my drug ATM 🔥🎧
Very dope! edit: F**k, just read the updates and all.. If so, thank you for making one of the best amv's I've witnessed with great music taste man. And if you're not feeling it no more - that's fine! It's best not to torture yourself into doing things that aren't enjoyable. Have a great one ;)
Thank you for giving me a memory to last my lifetime. Just vibing with my father, dancing in my room, laughing together and forgetting the bad things in life right now. You’ve made my day, just for making my father smile for the first time in forever, seeing my father smile brings me joy and defeats any evils in my mind. So again thank you for giving me this to remember.
1:24 Man, Redline will always be my favorite movie, hands down. Seven years of wrist breaking hard work really culminated into such an amazing movie, kudos to the animators!
I love the use of the Death Note shot at the 2:00 mark. Because the camera pans up, before it zooms out enough it looks like the subject is falling down like the three shots right before it.
I am really glad I watched this video. I was able to discover sayonara zetsubou sensei and Kenji Ohtsuki’s works. Now, Kenji Ohtsuki is one of my favorite artists and his music his in my top favorites too. Kenji’s music has gotten me through some times and I’m happy you made this edit.
HOLY SHIT THIS SLAPS SO FUCKING HARD!!!! I think this is one of my favorite... MVs? Edits? Idk. It's one of my favorite videos. The editing and the music are so cathartic it actually makes me wanna cry. SO good.
I am someone who plays around with editing ...and wow its every editors dream to have rhythm between your visual source and music in a video and this video is just awesome in my opinion Everything is timed and fits in place I hope i can create a awesome piece like this
To be fair, I think I may be a bit of a rhythm freak compared to most haha. I'll go for a rhythmic cut every chance I get, and if a cut is even .01 second off-sync it basically screams in my face and I can't stand it. I think most editors of videos like this make sure to cut on the beat, but in my case I also like to sync the movement within a visual clip to the music as much as possible. It may be overboard and viewers may not even notice every minute rhythmic sync, but I believe it has a lasting effect on a subconscious level. Anyway, thanks for watching, and I'm sure you'll make a great edit if you set your mind to it!
@@JohaQ nah fam i checked what vibe you went for in this vid , and the movements and certain clips were so well placed and yes i watched this while i was on my way to university and i loved the vibe , thanks fam keep well and drop some more !!!
I play this video over and over again. Thank you for creating such an amazing work of art! Quarantine is way better thanks to you. Cheers from France 😊
Miss you my friend ;-; i saw the notific and i was like "HOLY SHIT JO-HA-Q IS BACK" but i saw you coment explaining yourself, but anyway, i wish you find what you will do in the future and find what you really like to do so... good luck my friend and take care 💗 (Sorry i'm not so good using english language but i really hope you can find what you seek, take care)
Watched this 100 times. its really good and i think this video describes what anime is to me in some way. Anyways clean edits and the Redline transition gave me chills
That redline transition had me repeating that part multiple times!! It was that fucking good!! Hell it was one of the reasons why I saw the movie afterwards. It was Amazing!!
I love the stylistic choices you make in your videos and how you keep it to the best but you also change up the aesthetic of the video for the different anime you use, could fall into a trance of these all day. Keep up the good work my duder
Not only are you an Amazing Producer but you are also an Amazing editor. I have been keeping up with your music for a while now. I’m glad that I found your music and very thankful for what you do.
That's one the nicest things that someone has ever said to me, thank you! I'm going to try to make one last edit this year that will hopefully be my best work by far. I truly appreciate your support, much love. Also, love your Junji Ito profile picture!
@@JohaQ only just now noticed that you replied to me. I'm really glad that you appreciate my comment. You seem like an awfully genuine guy in the comment section of every video so i felt like sharing my genuine thoughts. Whether you create more in the future or not, your effort has definitely not gone to waste as everyone applauds your work. I'll wholeheartedly be looking forward to your *final* piece!! Have a great day kind stranger ♡ Also thank you! I edited it slightly :)
@@ammicelly At the risk of sounding repetitive, I genuinely appreciate your kind words. Reading this really made my day. Thank you so much. The world could use more people like yourself.
@@JohaQ not repetitive at all! Thank you so much for the compliment as well as for replying again. Much love and good luck with whatever you'll choose to do in the future!!
