Lil Doffy they don’t fw each other because Travis cut Lean out of rodeo. Patched it up later then Travis used unsolicited samples for Dubai shit. Travis is kind of a scumbag tbh. Tons of story’s of him being a scumbag from way more people too

I don’t expect everyone even anyone to understand leans music but for me it’s all a story. It’s a story a bout a kid from Stockholm who loved trap music so much he wanted to make it and he wanted to revolutionize it. It was a kid trying to make something seemingly trendy from a unique place. Once the fame hit the sad boys and everything they rapped about sounded prophetic and they were telling of the highlife rappers had that people drooled over but it was different cause lean was just a kid from Stockholm but he did something completely unique that inovated todays rap game. Leans music feels like the start of something great and chaotic.

It is! Check out his latest stuff, this kid was a visionaire and now he wants to be an artist making songs about his struggles in life, he really creates his own landscape, and yes, he started this vapor-wave rap thing just "playing" like a kid his age would do, and then he took the throne without falling into the hands of any big label and without selling his soul. Like it or not, he is the real deal.

I knew this will probably be lost in the comments but you’re right in the sense that it is lightweight for yung lean was very young at this time but if you listen to his newer work he’s matured a lot in sound and as an individual, you can tell if you listen to his album “Stranger” from 2017 he went thru some growth in tracks like “Red Bottom Sky” and “Agony” which are timeless tracks..

it's called cloud rap if you didn't know :) you can tell when instruments or vocals are slowed down to sound more ethereal (i.e. a mix of vaporwave and hip hop)

The Leandoer effect is a real thing. You’ve got to listen to the song more than once, heck for than a few times. With every listen you catch something different and the flow, beat hits harder. Same thing happened to me with PlayBoi Cartis 2018 project “DIE LIT”. After the first listen I thought the album was trash. However after every listen it became addicting and i now appreciate the project at a different level.

If you guys wanna give him another chance check out 'Miami Ultras' gnaaarly song with a lot of rock influence and the video is actually insanely creative. You have my word that would blow you guys away! 'Red bottom sky' is an amazingggg track too you can see the maturity
