honestly post-unknown death yung lean music has aged very well. at least the music from his two most recent albums. when i first listened to it i thought it was forgettable but im honestly appreciating it more and more the more i go back. and this is coming from someone who was on the yung lean/sbe wave early on.
No one can even get close to Lean's level, its mostly because of his incredible passion, creativity and most important top tier producer...seriously how can Gud be so young but so good at it? Lean had idea and everything, and didnt do it for money. It just happened over time. If you aim for money i dont think its that easy to get famous.

Don't freak out over the change in aesthetic and the more serious quality of the overall work. People change, artists evolve and play around with new things. And we get to watch that process. It’s been 5 years listening to yung lean now, but every time I hear him, I get that same feeling from when I was 14 and just discovering how great music can be.

Am I the only one excited for this new material? This is leaps and bounds better than Unknown Death and you know it. He's growing as an artist and that's what I came here for. I'm not saying you can't enjoy the oldies over the new, but even as music promo vids, this is fuckin' cool.
