ok, so...i realize this is more than a year old...but, i heard 'loner' for the first time a few weeks ago & have now watched all of his videos &..... 1.) something about his sound feels crazy nostalgic & i totally dig it. 2.) how is it that he manages to pull out rap, reggae, punk, emo & rock over the space of a handful of songs?? i fucking love it. 3.) he has an aesthetic that exists all on its own. just... *pink socks & huge mouth* lol. also... the fact he can shift seamlessly from talking about ADHD & suicide to a song about consent/sexual assault is everything. we need more actual musicians talking about real life shit as opposed to yet another void & vacuous machine-made churned out pop star w/ zero message & lyrics that belittle the industry & dumb down society in general... yungblud is my new fav.
Dude you sound really full of yourself, like this guy is also one of my favorite artists but that doesn’t mean everyone who isn’t like him is bad. I also enjoy artists like SuicideBoys and Pouya. But I also love to listen to Rex Orange County or Cavetown. Mindless music you don’t have to think about can be a relaxing thing. And I know everyone loves to criticize mainstream music for it’s repetitiveness and arguably talentless musicians but that definitely doesn’t mean they ‘dumb down society.’

i suffer from severe ADHD and i am aways super hyper and loud i got made fun of alot for it so i started to isloate myself alot so i wouldnt get made fun of i then found yungbluds music i watched some interviews and saw that he also had ADHD which made me feel alot better about myself so i stopped taking all my medication and started being myself and i feel so much better about my disorder i cant thank him enough for it🖤🖤🖤

I’m gonna say it again. After listening to his music and watching some of his interviews, I like his music more and more. This anti-mainstream 2006ish vibe is really throwing me back to days, when I’ve listened to Avril Lavigne, Nirvana, Three Days Grace, Mindness Self Indulgence and it’s so fuckin’ dope. rocket grunt I agree. This isn’t punk rock. This barely passes as punk. Everyone is calling this rock, punk, emo and so on but that’s absolute bull. Yes there are minor elements of punk/rock but it’s extremely modernised and pretty mainstream. It isn’t pure punk, rock and most definitely not emo. This isn’t sending out hate to him or anything because he definitely doesn’t deserve it and I see why people enjoy it. I like a few of his songs too. It's a chaotic pop punk song so there are so many scenes it could fit in the show honestly lololol. Any highly chaotic situation that isn't sad or depressing would be good.
I had a dream last night that I met Dom and he was so nice.
