Fun Fact: There is an American Climax Heroes game. It's a game for Kamen Rider Dragon Knight. It's the reason why these games have the entire Ryuki cast as well.

Alright, yuri and super climax, two of my favorite things to watch on a Saturday morning.

Okay, I haven't watched the rest of the video yet because I had to pause it from laughter. I don't normally laugh so easily, but the PERFECT DELIVERY on "Welcome back to another edition of... Me." for some reason cracked me up and I have such a smile on my face while typing this. I'm seriously not normally like this, that just GOT me.

You forgot there are Guard Meter, Pushblock, Rider Art (in PSP you press L) that varies depends on the rider type, and air combos for the majority of the roster. There are also links in the combo system. Man i miss this game:( it has huge potential

Hell yeah, a review by Yuriofwind! This was a great review and it perfectly sums up how Kamen Rider: Super Climax Heroes was the definitive game out of the Climax Heroes series. Right now Bandai Namco is preoccupied with Battride War, but it'd be rad to see them go back to the Kamen Rider fighting game formula. Oh and I totally agree with you on the instrumentals for the Rider, nice little touch the devs put in for the game's fights. Good job, man.

Both Kamen Rider Black and RX aired over here when I was a kid and those were some of my favorite shows. I'm definitely tracking this one down. Thanks mate, great vid!

I didn't realised that you posted this until today! Holy crap, Kamen Rider. Hype!

They actually unkilled one of the rangers in Kyuuranger. The bull robot was killed by Stinger's brother, but he got repaired and everything is happy again. Oh also there's a 12th ranger now. He managed to kill a small fleet using his standard sword. No Mecha or Super-robo assistance.

What good timing, putting this up just a couple days after the reveals for Build. Just when I thought my Kamen Rider hype couldn't get any higher.

Fun fact: We actually DID get one of these games in the states. Bamco used the Climax Heroes engine to make a fighter for a game based on Kamen Rider Dragon Knight, the second [and currently last] adaptation of a Rider iteration. Which is basically the only reason why the Climax Heroes games to follow have the entire goddamn Ryuki entourage when really only three or four of them are truly necessary. Also these games make me want a Toei VS Capcom game to happen. At this point, i also want it just for Capcom to throw some shade back at ArcSys for DBFZ and BlazBlue CTB. (Even though both would have Goku, but whatever)

I've been waiting a long time for this kind of video, and I was certainly not disappointed. Excellent review, Yuri. It always makes me smile hearing you talk about Kamen Rider.

Anyone else realized fourze was the most American tokusatsu show ever made. Btw, anyone else thinks Ryuki, Kiva, OOOs, and gaim where the best.

Bandai also owns Power Rangers with the PR teams ever since the SNES days. I tested out Mega Force at first on Citra, a Nintendo 3DS emulator in development, and it worked well. One of the few games I did not mind getting %100 in. Playing the 3DS game All Kamen Rider: Rider Revolution and enjoying it. Pick any Rider with Necrom from Ghost and you have power leveling for any Rider.

Wouda been cool to have the transformation sequences from normal human to Kamen Rider like some of the older PS1/PS2 games

There is a mode with some sort of story, it has quite big walls of japanese text before each fight in that mode, even more so when there's some connection to the riders, like if you use W to fight Skull. If you know someone who knows japanese, i figured out how to translate the game quite awhile back.

Im sry to mention this Super Sentai actually kills a lot of it's own main rangers in addition to the bad guys, it's the power rangers series that is unwilling to do those death scene, but anyway good review of the game

Very well done, my only disappointment is no Karmen rider belt fetish somewhere in the video :( Would of been a nice touch when you were going off about the belt noises. Speaking of belts could we get a video of your belt collection and maybe a quick once over each one?

there is one important-ish thing you didnt mention. it uses the same engine as the Naruto Clash of Ninja games, they even re-used the "crumple state" animation. the main point being that if you really like that fighting engine, then you'll probably like how this game plays. i know i did.

I think I know the question we all need to know the answer to. Is Kamen Rider Birth in this game Date or Goto? Because if he isn't Date they picked the wrong one. Also I heard that Journey Through the Decade, you can't fool my ears when I hear the Decade theme.

I've been waiting for this! I kinda knew this existed beforehand, but now I'm definitely picking this up when I get my PSVita. Love kamen rider and tokusatsu in general. And if you do see this comment, then do you mind telling me what your favorite rider show is? I haven't seen enough to make a solid judgement but I started with Gaim. (At your recommendation in a video nonetheless.)

I love this game because it plays similar to the Naruto Clash of Ninja series. The only thing I wish they fix if they do a future update title is make the Climax attack on all characters be brief and flashy just like the Naruto games, because most of the Climax attacks interrupt the pace of the fighting.

I loved how you mentioned all the Saban adaptations but Masked Rider. Or the other Kamen Rider adaptation, Kamen Rider. I got into the show when Kabuto was airing so that series has a special place in my heart and the Kabuto game for the PS2 was the second game I ever imported. The Rider Generation games are probably my favourite Rider games I've played. I'm quite simular to you in the fact that I'm behind with Sentai, I always fall behind with Sentai, the last episode of Kyu I watched was like 15/16 then I usually binge watch them right near the end (I say usually as I've still not finished Ninninger 😐) But Kamen Rider I watch ASAP, damn Amazons was great and Ex-Aid is one of my favourite series in a while and I'm one of those guys that likes all the series. Anyway I don't want to ramble on as long as an average endslate so I'll just say I love you and bye 😄

You don't need to mod your Wii per se, there is a region disabler disc, the Wii reads the disc and then you just insert the imported disc afterwards, the Gamecube has the same thing. This requires your Wii to not have been updated too much via the firmware updates though unless they released a new disc already by this point.

bandai namco has announced another kr climax game known as climax fighters and will be also released in english for asian market outside japan.

Holy shit, Saga's playable in this. I was inherently interested because Kamen Rider, but Saga seals the deal.

You are my spirit animal dude. Saw .hack and Kamen Rider and questioned why I haven't subbed before. Any plans to cover the PS4 Kamen Rider game with Ghost? It's worth it as far I can tell.

But Yuri, the PSP version let's you put your own music in. So you can have the REAL Kamen Rider music... Or "Space Jam". Whatever floats your boat

Do you have a modded wii or a Japanese Wii? Was considering this game but didn't want to mess with mods. Also are you gonna talk about the Battride War game series?

you know they could always remaster this game and add some new Kamen Riders to this game, and the remaster would probably do good on both the Nintendo consoles and a PlayStation consoles as well as the PC, they need to make another Kamen Rider fighting game with a cast that's bigger than super climax Heroes and have it on the PC cuz it might do pretty well on the PC

I bought Kamen Rider Battride War for the PS3 despite that I have not watched anything about Kamen Rider asides for the first 2 episodes of a series called kamen Rider Black a long time ago. I figure it it would satisfy my need for a Power Rangers game.

disappointed that you didn't go more in depth with the fighting mechanics. what little you mentioned just wasn't sufficient enough, and the gameplay systems are far more broken than they first seem. pretty good review for viewers that love kamen rider, though. the game is recommendable for anyone that's into that.

This game's top tier is just broken in a way that makes even casual play unenjoyable, because they all revolve either spamming 1 unblockable nearly undodgable OP move (Wizard Hurricane Style - Big Hurricane/Fourze Magnet States - Powerdizer Supporr Attack) or abusing glitches that you can do by accident to softlock the game (Black RX)

I personally give it to the psp version because I could put my own music in for finisher attacks and climax time. That being said not sure if the Wii version could do that if it does then yeah Wii version all the way. My biggest gripe with the game is that not all riders got a specific to them L button (on psp version) attack. It made some of the riders kinda bland. Also why no Rising IXA Bandai? Like wtf

I really would want another Super Climax Heroes with maybe a more in depth system.
