Yu-Gi-Oh 5ds. The best series even on rewatches. Plus ending has characters grow up showing fans they can still love the game but have to grow as people with it. Og gx zexal arc v vrains feels like they just stop especially vrains.
@@kingscourge6031 honestly if arc v was on season one grind it would have been the best series but in synchro it really fell down with how little they did especially when having cameos
@@petertran9416 yeah. Too bad it went down after that. Season 1 was basically Yu-Gi-Oh s attempt at making the anime as close to the card game as possible
watching the opening segment really reminded me of how special the first season is. I never really cared much about speed warrior but now that you mention it, being the first monster yusei brings out it really sets the tone going forward. There's something very dystopian about his design. It's not often that yugioh will explore social themes which makes me appreciate 5ds even more.
Junk Warrior is for Yusei what Elemental Hero Flame Wingman is for Jaden: their first iconic monster. Nice that it was both the first and last Synchro summoned monster.
5D’s is one of my favorite Anime eras of all time and it’s nice to look back on Yusei’s key cards. Sure there wasn’t as much information on the TCG impact of Yusei’s cards than other top 10 Anime cards the Duel Logs covered, but I liked the information on the deeper connections within the Anime and to the highlighted character.
I played a game vs a college friend of mine, I was on speedroids, and I had the opportunity to summon stardust dragon, so I did, and the effect won me the game!
Heck yeah, Yusei has the deck with the best overall aesthetic imo. It fits the cyberpunk setting so perfectly, and they look so cool when turbo dueling! Wish we had Turbo Dueling in Master Duel…
The Jack Atlas and Crow Hogan Top 10s are going to be interesting given there are two versions of the respective characters. Red Demon's Dragon, Scarlight Red Demon's Dragon, Dark Resonator, Red Resonator, and Red Nova Dragon are all definitely going to be on the Jack Top 10.
About that like GX 5DS had a Least 25 to 30 Japanese episodes CUT from the ENGLISH dub including 1 whole season of it which sucks because the Paradox VS Yu Gi Jaden and Yusei takes place well AFTER Season 4 of GX which never had a English dub of GX season 4 despite that movie having a English dub with Paradox being voiced by Dragon Ball Z's current voice actor of Goku himself.
Exactly but he only plays it once for the ENTIRE series which is Japan is 154 episodes while the English dub only lasted for like 125 Episodes I believe for that dub he never played it at all since it was shown in 1 of the Japanese episodes that got CUT from the English dubs.
18:13 Idea for a “Scrap-Iron” Field Spell that focuses on getting out and supporting the “Scrap-Iron” Traps: _Scrap-Iron Junkyard_ Field Spell _Unaffected by Card Effects while you control a Face-up “Scrap-Iron” Trap. Facedown Cards in your Spell/Trap Zones cannot be Destroyed or Targeted by card effects while you control this Face-up Card. During Either Player’s turn, you can discard 2 cards: Set 1 “Scrap-Iron” Trap from your Hand or Deck. If a “Scrap-Iron” Trap you activated is set Facedown by it’s own effect; You can Apply 1 of the following effects._ _⚪️Special Summon 1 Level 4 or Lower Tuner Monster from your Hand._ _⚪️Add 1 Level 4 or lower Tuner Monster to your Hand from your Deck or GY._ _⚪️Shuffle 1 Syncrho Monster from the GY or Banishment back into the Extra Deck._
28:05 Idea for a improved version of this card that leans into the Level 2 aspect: _Junk-ernaut_ (DARK) Level 5 Warrior/Synchro/Tuner/Effect 1+ “Junk Synchron” + 1+ Non-Tuner monsters _This card’s Level is unaffected by the effects of other cards. Gains ATK/DEF Equal to the Total ATK/DEF of all Level/Rank/Link 2 Monsters you control. Once per turn (Quick Effect), You can increase this card’s level by 2 for every Level/Rank/Link 2 Monster you control. This Synchro Summoned card gains the following effects based on it’s Level:_ _6+: This card, and all Level/Rank 2 Monsters you control, Gain ATK Equal to their Original DEF, and DEF equal to their Original ATK._ _8+: This card, and all Level/Rank/Link 2 Monsters you control, Cannot be Destroyed by Battle Or Card Effects._ _10+: This card, and all Level/Rank/Link 2 Monsters you control, can attack all monsters your Opponent Controls, once each._ _12+: During your Main Phase, While this card is Face-up on the field, You can Normal Summon Level 2 Monsters without Limit, in addition to your Normal Summon/Set._ ATK/2300 DEF/1300
I actually just finished the 5Ds manga yesterday. (I didn't like it as much as the manga series that came before it, but I like the 5Ds anime more than the anime series that came before it. Fun fact the GX and 5Ds manga were written after their anime counterparts.)
22:17 Idea for a “Stardust Dragon”/“Red Dragon Archfiend” Fusion Monster: _Star-Fiend Dragon of the Red Reign_ (WIND) Level 8 Dragon/Fusion/Tuner/Effect _1+ WIND Dragon Synchro Monsters + 1+ DARK Dragon Synchro Monsters_ _(This card is always treated as an "Stardust Dargon" and "Red Dragon Archfiend" card.)_ _After damage calculation, if this card attacked an opponent's monster: Destroy all monsters your opponent controls with a lower Total ATK/DEF than that Monster. When a card or effect is activated that would destroy or Banish a card(s) (Quick Effect): You can Tribute this card; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy it. During the End Phase, if this effect was activated this turn (and was not negated): You can Special Summon this card from your GY, and if you do; Add 1 Spell/Trap to your hand (From your Deck) that mentions “Syncrho” or “Tuner”._ ATK/3000 DEF/2500
Sounds dead inside lol Almost like he wants nothing to do with talking about YGO anime characters and their cards. After same guy who said a long time ago YGO anime is for children. The script doesn't help either lol
Top 10 Worst classic cards 7: Ancient Sanctuary, or Top 10 Worst Warrior type monsters. Or Worst monsters that cannot be normal summoned or set, or Top 10 Reptile-type monsters For the non top 10 list: The Unknown side of Yu-Gi-Oh: Beasts of the Colliseum featuring Gladiator Beasts
Personally my favorite Yugioh series and main cast. Yusei, Akiza, Leo, Luna, Jack, Carly. All great characters… though I feel like I’m forgetting someone
Stardust, just for you to know that, although I will always love cards that destroy other cards, you have been a refreshing welcome to the YGO card game, abd for that, not only do I respect you, but love you, also.
