I lived in Jakarta, Indonesia, for 10 years. A Muslim country, morning started with morning prayer echoing from every mosque at the same time. One time, I heard Cat Stevens’ “Morning Has Broken” as the morning prayer from a mosque near me. Whether it was him I don’t know, but it was profoundly beautiful ❤

Thank you for doing this, it's always appreciated when you do one of my suggestions. I've always liked him as an artist, he had many great songs, "Matthew and Son", "Lady D'Arbanville" and "Moonshadow" being my favourites, "Morning Has Broken" is probably his best known.

My favourite from Cat would have to be Do You Remember The Days In The Old School Yard. Totally different for him, but a great tune with great memories.

One who became lost in the mists of time, it's hard to remember just how important he seemed at the time. I never really got it though.

@@delorangeade I once knew a Scouse nun by the name of Sister Bernadette, she swore, smoked and farted out loud. She was one of the funniest and loveliest people I ever met.
