I swear, every time I watch these raw clips of him. His first 5 tries seem like he's not even remotely close.... then 20 tries later he stomps it PERFECT.
ItsYaBoy wdym If he goes slow he’s gonna shin himself on the river wall which will stop forward momentum of his legs causing his head to smack the ground at 20mph. Speed is his friend in this situation
What really amazes me is how quickly he gets back to the other side of the ditch after each time he fails... it's like he is using teleportation or something like that... really cool.
Maybe he realises when it's gonna be a no-make quite early on, bailing as soon as he realises rather than trying to make a near-make/not good enough-make look really close. But when he knows things are going well he keeps it for the clean-make. The dude has a great chill style.
jetwork131 when they showed him do that flatground and then headed down the bank, I was thinking how perfectly sick it would be if he landed it over the gap. Holy shit that was a perfect clip.
not going to lie his 360 was crispier than his ollie, it looked like he could barely even ollie it clean. I bet he does 360s more than he even ollies lol.
Listen, I don’t skateboard, and I don’t plan to, but I’m addicted to watching these videos- I feel like skateboarding is one real most visual expressions of trial and error- not giving up until you get it- and that is EXTREMELY motivating for me in regards to my passions. Respect 💯

@@harryhaller9670 totally off topic but I think what people think of the dude upstairs is that he or she is like a super hero that comes and saves the day at a whim whenever we are in trouble or made a mistake and want saving. When it's clearly not the case. If that were we as a human species will never progress cuz we are being sheltered and will seize to exist. Look at it in the eyes of being a father figure who let's the child do mistakes in order for them to grow and push themselves out the mud, instead of the over bearing helicopter parent who robs their kid of the experience because they are afraid of the child getting hurt. Yes miracles happen and bad things happen, but also prayer exists and although it seems random at times or not so, the important thing is not to think about it too much and trust that the dude upstairs got you.

Wow been a skater for almost 20 years and i dont think ive ever seen a back 3 done so clean and smooth.Especially over sketchy gap and little concrete block kicker just wow!
@@alphtang5517 for me he did the first's 10 try's tô figure out that the problem was the speed, not the high jump...he seems like some skateboard that pass most of the day in parks ..."perfect speed Into ramps, perfect ground"...underst..?
I recently started getting back into skating again. If theres any lesson I needed to remember is that you dont ever give up and keep trying until you nail the trick down.

It didnt happen over night...years of filming everyday slowly lead me to knowing more and more of these dudes.....and the reason I am able to upload all of these clips is because I wait until they have been used in whatever part the skater is filming for....so most of everything I upload has been used somewhere at some point....so I save all the attempts for each trick so I can put out future edits with a behind the scenes/trick concept. I'm more impressed by this guy's friends than his trick. To stick around and watch attempt, after attempt, after attempt etc is unusual. Good friends support each other whenneeded, especially when it's not what you had planned.
No just the way he pulls tricks out and lands them.. is looking no where close for a moment and then next try just does it like it was first try after completely breaking himself
have you never witnessed somebody trying to film a hard trick before? i think its funny that some people actually think that these pros/ams bust out tricks within a couple tries. that isn't the case 90% of the time. sure there are a few that can back 3 a stair set within 2 or 3 tries, but its because they've done back 3's down countless other things and probably warmed up on something smaller right before filming it at the actual spot. i think Yuto is someone that filmers would actually enjoy filming. he doesn't waste any time getting right back up and going for it again. also, he doesn't seem to complain much or lay there forever crying about how hurt he is from slamming. nah, none of that with Yuto. i hate to break it to you man, but most skateboarders/filmers go through this every time they're out filming. they sure do make it look easy, but this is exactly what these videos are all about... to show us the trial and error process, the behind the scenes look at what actually happens, the shit they have to deal with just to be able to skate a spot. you know, like cleaning it up, making sure they don't get kicked out, or finding the right time of day to go to whatever given/chosen spot. there's so much more to it bud.
Yes. This guy takes approx 25% longer than other skaters of his caliber to land his trick. It shouldn't take that long to ollie something that you can also 360.
It was SO smooth after he'd gotten fuckin wrecked on that gap. Back 3's look sketchy af a lot of times. Like front foot off, ollie north 270° that they whip around with arms flailing all over, on the cusp of falling. That was seriously the best back 3 i've ever seen.
All of those wipeouts looked so similar. It was really messing with my head at one point, like the video just kept going back 10 seconds over and over again. I felt like i was stuck in time or something.
If he is anything like me, he was just waiting for that one that felt right. I know how it is when you have many attempts that aren’t close at all until you snap that tail and get the right feel. Especially with flip tricks. Ollie straight to a back three is crazy!
