When I first saw this I seriously thought they were older and there had been a time skip or something. But alas it was not so. The animation and character appearances for the 1st and 2nd seasons were really inconsistent. It didn't even out until the final episodes of season 2. Season 3 has way better animation and it all looks more uniform
