As the Japanese advertisement which I included says proudly, this is actually the second fully "club oriented" soundtrack from Yuzo Koshiro after the original Streets of Rage.
It was not widely advertised in Western magazines that this soundtrack is from Yuzo Koshiro and so great, but since this was a fairly early SNES release (within the first 50 games) and released when the system sales were surely spiking up with the release of Zelda A Link to the Past in the same month I am pretty sure this game sold quite well worldwide.
Pretty interesting that this soundtrack is getting copyright claimed by: "Set Adrift On Memory Bliss" - P.M. Dawn / Content found during: 9:46 - 9:57 / This was a pretty famous song back in the day (and I like it a lot) and I have to wonder if it is just coincidentally using the same beat from a KORG or whatever is causing it to match, since the game music here was probably done by the time that PM Dawn single came out (August 1991). Either way I take it like a compliment that my mix ends up matching a professionally released song...also this soundtrack is amazing straight up and underrated.
