Note: the reason why my prod.keys file wasn't being recognized was because I tried to load it from the Downloads folder on my phone. Move the file somewhere else and it should work (or manually install the file, like I showed in this video). Thanks to everyone for the tip!
I am so glad one of the developers has a Samsung s20 fe. My s21 fe runs with the latest turnip driver time trials of mario kart 8 deluxe at 30-40 fps which is for me more than playable. I am so looking forward to further improvements!

I had the G8X but the dual screen broke and it eventually started getting really bad battery issues. By that point LG stopped making phones, so unfortunately I couldn't get the V60. Really wanted one though.

@@pemuda7075 not true raw performance isnt everything, pretty much no iPhone can sustain long term performance like gaming oriented androids can, apple has far more natively optimised apps and games thus giving the impression of better performance but pretty sure that wouldn't apply to emulators since they aren't as mature yet and will probably perform similarly, i would be happy to be proven wrong cuz i just want these games playable on a damn phone
None . Probably the Pimax one when it comes out since it has basically a rebranded snapdragon 865. The odin base and pro have a sd845. I’m sure Russ will get to cover it soon but right now the performance overhead is much higher than skyline . Skyline is way more efficient for the games that work on both butbyuzu already seems to have more compatibility
When news broke that Skyline's development was being suspended indefinitely, that really put a blow to my heart man. But Yuzu's surprise announcement and shadow drop definitely reignited my excitement for Switch emulation on Android. With all that said though, let's just hope this doesn't get DMCA'd or anything. Especially when Nintendo is currently on a legal killing-spree on emulators and hacking tools right now with Dolphin and the Lockpick-RCM tool before (the one legal take down from Ninty that scared the Skyline team into suspending development on all things Skyline).
@@beyondan Bruh.. are you two guys 12 or something? Read the last date I posted this comment. That was 11 months ago. Around the time when Yuzu android was just starting to get regular build updates on Github. Which was loooong before they and a lot of other Switch emu forks got into trouble with Ninty, got banned and DMCA'd left and right.

Also the lawsuit could've been avoided if only Yuzu didn't screw themselves over (and Citra along with them) by providing overly detailed tutorials on how to extract certain licensed and encrypted keys that are required for the emulator to run on their main homepage. How do you think Ryujinx is still up today?
I had no luck sadly. I tested my two most lightweight games with my OnePlus 7 Pro (SD855) and none of them worked well. Meanwhile they play flawlessy using Skyline. Still very excited Yuzu is on Android. They offer so much more customization right from day one.
@@bulletpunch9317 yes, but the game I tested was Sonic and it works flawlessly with Skyline, so it's probably just compatibility since it's just one day old lol
At the moment they recommend 865 with 8GB RAM or better, so 855 with 6GB is definitely not gonna do well. It'll probably get better in a few months though
For the Product Keys, there is an issue installing it from Download folder. If you had placed it anywhere else, you could have selected it and it would have worked.

It's amazing that a phone can run such games, it makes me wonder, when will developers start making AAA games for Android and sell it on Play Store or a different store altogether ? If it can emulate it then won't it be able to run games better in native format ?
Nothing amazing when flagship phones have been faster than switch for like 5 years now. When people start paying enough for the existing games i guess.
People don't buy phone games, so there's very little incentive for developers to make "real" games on phones that are paid. Microtransactions and adware are what you'll get, and a small indie gem here and there.
@@Zanpaa Real games are too expensive and they would have to deal with ass touch controls which would cost the consumer even more for a controller add-one. The sheep are used to their gatcha garbage and microtransactions from free mobile trash on the market and it'll stay that way.
Super Mario 3D World and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe are really the only two games I loved playing constantly when I still had my Switch Lite before I sold it once the left analog would no longer turn right. It's great that they look kinda playable (but still slow) this early. I was trying to get 3-stars on Bell Cup on 200cc before that analog stick broke. Super Bell Subway is the course I came in 2nd. Still pisses me off as I know I can beat it. Yuzu is now making me reconsider if I should get a modded Switch OLED or not? My Z Flip 3 has Snapdragon 888, so I should be good to go. It's the only Android smartphone I own that has no problem emulating GameCube and PS2. Bastion is already FREE on a modded Vita. A lot of underrated gems on the Vita that would later make it on the Switch like SteamWorld Dig 2 and Shantae: 1/2 Genie Hero. The Rocketbirds games are hilarious. A few days ago, I downloaded Michael Jackson: The Experience. I'm not into rhythm games although I did get into it with PaRappa and Bust-A-Groove long before DDR and Guitar Hero made them mainstream. It's a pretty fun game. Love MJ. I'm actually not into handheld emulation mainly because I can play those games on the handheld itself. I prefer emulation from home consoles. The Vita emulation doesn't interest me at all because I would rather play those games on the Vita. I don't need to whip out a Bluetooth controller and map the input. It's similar to how people feel getting a dedicated handheld like a Miyoo Mini or Abernic instead of gaming on a phone. Last night, I downloaded another 20 more games for my modded Vita 2K model. Games from the NES, SNES, Genesis, GG, and GBA. I downloaded a few Disney games like Mickey Mania (Genesis version), Maui Mallard In Cold Shadow (SNES), and Pinocchio (SNES), Man, the graphics on them still look amazing from the 16-bit era! A lot of Disney games aged really well graphically like Hercules on PS1. I like those beautiful 2D platformers on handhelds. They have the best replay value. Hence, why Super Mario 1-3, World, and any of the Sonic games from the MD/Genesis era are probably the most downloaded and played ROMs. People will play them hundreds of times. They have that Back to the Future Trilogy high replay value. I would watch several RU-vid videos about all the underrated games on the Vita. Modded Vita still rules. As much as I enjoyed my Switch Lite when it did work flawlessly for 7 months, the form factor, weight, design, and versatility of a modded Vita makes it my favorite dedicated gaming device of all-time. The story mode on Dead Or Alive 5 Plus is a blast to play and watch. I have exactly 100 games on my Vita and I can literally get lost for hours playing them. I'll always favor Sony over Nintendo. PlayStation fan for life. I would download Yuzu once they can make Super Mario 3D World and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe 100% flawless on it. This could take 5 to 10 years! If not, I'm going to wait for the Switch 2 and play my digital downloads of those two games there. As much as I love Double Dash!!, MK8D is definitely superior to it. It just looks and plays better. More customization and depth to it. Baby Daisy on Mr. Scooty ended up being my favorite. I hope the Miami Heat wins the 2023 NBA championship and Caleb Martin at 50-1 wins Finals MVP. I'm going to buy that $400 Steam Deck with that slimmer tomtoc case that Russ recommended if Miami wins. I want to play more modern games by this point. More triple-A titles within the last 5 years. The ROG Ally is extremely appealing but my gut feeling tells me to trust Valve over Asus. Steam Deck will be supported far longer even with the weaker hardware.
I own an original jailbroken switch, as well as the new OLED Zelda switch, and I'm still excited for this. It's all about game preservation and options. I have multiple 3ds/2ds consoles and classic consoles as well, but I keep them on the sheld and use emulators instead. Nintendo realistically loses VERY little money from emulation. then they started selling subscriptions to play roms... as far as I'm concerned, once anything moves to subscription model, piracy is fully warranted.
@@ariskoin9612 there are a few games that are worth it, like the zelda remasters. At 4x they look pretty good for the base game being over 20 years old.

As a fold 4 user there are some serious scaling issues with the early access app. The cover screen will not show the overlay properly with severe pixelation of the game graphics and the internal screen rotates the screen to the right. Hopefully the updates roll in quickly to correct this.
From my understanding yuzu for Android is just a port of yuzu for PC, so that would mean that it's doing some hardware emulation that it doesn't have to do given that Android phones and the switch share a common CPU instruction set
Nice! I can finally play all the persona games on the go… 😅wait. But in all seriousness I have been waiting for something like this because honestly the fact that my freaking phone can run yuzu is insane. I do have a Samsung s20 though so not surprised. And the Persona games are so chill so to have easy access to pretty much all of them is a great deal to me.
This setting up is a bit complicated for me, I've got a note 20 and wondering what keys work for you and where to download the games because the website isn't letting me interact with the games and keys options in the setup link
Ryujjinx doesn't have an Android version, if you see one right now its a scam. The only other option for android switch emulation that isn't incredibly fishy is the now out of development Skyline
@@ChonnyChu Skyline is a little better right now, but since it's no longer in development, it won't be very long until Yuzu or something new becomes better
O.O OMG another person who uses the LG V60! :) If only the V60's hinge wasn't made of plastic I would rock it every day. I love my V60 but the build quality just doesn't hold a candle to the Surface Duo 2.
I hope this "rapid development" is truly rapid. Animal Crossing is just a blue screen with text on all settings on an S21 Ultra (Snapdragon) and no versions of Turnip actually fix the issue. Redumped the game a couple times, all with the same result. Even tried other people's dumps of the game. Nothing yet.
@@bulletpunch9317 this was released yesterday... if they get it working they can start to optimize for lower end chips. And they will work it as low as possible

Hey I have the s22 ultra and I'm having the hardest of time to get Marvel ultimate alliance 3 running with the dlc and update...preferably I want to focus on getting the game to run initially...help a brother out? I have the production key installed but man I'm struggling
Rather play on original hardware but if you don't have access to a switch it seems like a good idea to digitally buy the games and emulate them on android and it's not illegal
I just recently got an OLED Switch with a modchip preinstalled after running a day one Switch with CFW for several years now and I can't be happier with it, so I'm (currently) not interested in actually emulating the Switch at all but this is still an amazing milestone and such a nice turn of things after Skyline went off. However the OLED Switch is so wunderful (I even got the Zelda edition) that I even use it for retro gaming now. RetroArch runs all classic 2D systems and since they all look so beautiful on there, I even ditched my plans to buy an RG405M for retro gaming. Now it's not that pocketable of course (got a Miyoo Mini and a Plus for that) but still super handy compared to my Steam Deck.
Recently somebody has compiled a version of yuzu for Android 10, of course it still requires Snapdragon, but now it works on the Odin pro. Won't be the best option but it exists.
I still don't understand why skyline Devs decided to shutdown. I think they were doing amazing work and performance was really good even on mediatek devices
