I like the intense version way more than the original, which I ended up giving it away cause it is for someone in their 20s. The new one is way more elegant and versatile a great addition to a collection.
This is a great fragrance…. I’m a business professional always looking for a fragrance that won’t offend in an office environment. This one is definitely safe for the office! I’ve received numerous compliments since I’ve been wearing it. My wife and daughter also really enjoy it when I wear it around the house. I highly recommend this one! I don't know how to feel about ysl y intense, it reminds me a lot of this old spice or axe body wash I used to use in middle school. My cousins that are around the ages of 17-20 said it's alright and has nothing very special about it, but when I had the older folks like my uncles and aunts smell it they thought it was amazing which confirms the more mature take on the ysl y line. I probably need more time with this fragrance to appreciate it more, also great review as always.
I wasn't crazy about this one at first. I have to say though, this one really macerates beautifully over time. It has become my favorite one of the line. Between this and the Le Parfum, I feel like I have all my bases covered and don't need any of the others.
I asked my wife to pick me up a bottle of the EDP but she came home with the Intense. I ended up keeping it. It was a lot more “intense” than the edp I was smelling in store. But I thought it was unique. The performance is crazy. I had a sweater I sprayed some on about a month ago and I left it in the garage. It still smelled like the cologne.
I’m with you on that mate! I really love this fragrance so much. I have over 200 fragrances in my collection and Dylan Blue is my workhorse. (Just finished my second bottle, 2 down, 2 to go) I use it mostly when I’m just not feeling BDC or I need to spray and go! Dylan Blue is the ultimate dumb reach! Top marks in performance, versatility/occasions, longevity and sillage. This will always be in my collection/rotation. (I keep 2 200ml bottles on deck, just in case of a reformulation or discontinuation) 11/10 Highly recommended! 🇦🇺
Tried Dylan Blue several times. Just didn't like it. Didn't like Eros either. I like the vintage Pour Homme from the house though very much. I didn't like the original Y EDT either. I like the new Y EDT though. Works better on my skin.
I LOVE THE APPLE!!!! The only one from that line I like even though that whole line comes off sweet to me. Still a great fragrance. Didn’t buy the intense for the reason it didn’t smell the same or a better version of the EDP.. oh well.
This is the best in the Y line in my opinion def a signature scent grab and go any day any time that semi sweetness in the beginning to me is just polarizing
Wife who works in cosmetics was given a free bottle. I actually dig it. Smells somewhat like a fresher Dior Homme Intense to me. Like a summer/spring night out Dior Homme Intense
@@krispybowgod9656 if you spray on your hand and smell closely it kind of does to me. Doesn’t smell like it in the air/silage. I don’t know. Own both and did a side by side on both hands and kiiiinda smelled close and my wife agreed. Try it out!
even though i didn’t understand what the video really said, i could figure it out by looking at the little pictures u put next to the words. that’s really helped me understand it better!
Mmm can’t decide between this one and YSL L’Homme Le Parfum. Love both DNA’s and I’m definitely looking for the fresher/classier version of the two. La Nuit de L’Homme & YSL Y EDP are my favs of all my collection so far.
I bought this one when it just came out, its performance its nowhere near ysl y edp. Specially on the projection. I ended up return it. Does smell nice though!
I decided to blind buy YSL EDP Intense instead of the EDP, terrible mistake. I tried the EDP at a store and LOVED it. I thought the Intense would be even better, I was so wrong. I guess it's true about chasing waterfalls and stuff😒. Hopefully it will grow on me but for now I hate it.
Alot more but alot more cloying in hugh heat I get 6 to 7 hours with intense version.early fall spring and winter the Edp is better Summer late spring the intense is better ,slightly more mature
YSL learning a thing or two from brioni lol and I hate apple in perfume I’m sure a lot of ppl are like that too. Anytime i see leather accord I know they’ve snuck apple in there somehow

I don't get why people can't give brands versatility and with the Y-Line what did people expect? The EdP is different from the EdT, the Le Parfum is different from both and in fact the Y Live abs Eau Fraiche were nothing alike with the Y-Line but the Y-Line itself is about the masculine freshness which can be shown in different facettes. They all share the basic formula but each plays with its own highlights. Whats even ironic, apparently there are people that find the Y EdP too sweet (don't see that though) and now they got a more masclunie EdP and complain it ain't the OG EdP 😂😂
one of the most overrated designer fragrance lines, lol. but the people on parfumo (2nd biggest scent rating site after fragrantica) know what's up and gave them mediocre ratings. the real YSL summer line is of course L'Homme, especially the Ultime 🔥which is like ten times better than all from this boring, generic Y line combined, lol
Yep I did not like the Y line until this new one. They are too similar to me and ambroxan bombs are boring. If you like sweet fragrances get a Paco Rabane and pay half.
