i could write about this song for hours. there’s just something about the echo of the sounds, the rain noises as they speak, it’s so perfect. i discovered it just before my holiday last summer, when my life was at a solid 5/10 but jumped right up to an 11 when i was there: everything was perfect. i didn’t want to come home. the weather, how i looked, how i felt, the place that i stayed, the moon and stars on nights. they were all perfect. but the moon and stars. they’re always there, and they always will be. i can always listen to this song but it will never ever be the same. the only thing that remains is the moon and the stars. i am no longer in that happy place with the perfect weather, appearance, mentality, or hotel. i can’t go and lie on the balcony and stargaze. i can’t get up early to watch the sunrise. i can’t go outside to warm up. even though it was only a week, it affects me still 8 months later. things are so different, i loved it. i found myself there and i’ll never forget that it. however this song will always bring it right back to me.

My father passed away a year ago and I still miss him so much. This music reminds me of the good times that me and him had when he was alive.

between may and june, i met this boy. I miss the old him so much, i was listening to this song when i met him and i discovered what « Limerence » meant. I remember saying that it was a word that could describe us, and when we called, i always said « Say somethinggg » refering to the song. He was my everything and i still cant see myself without him. This song, is so good and relaxing at the same time, but i can’t listen to it anymore because it hurts. I’m crying right now while writing that because all of the memories are coming back. As a very nostalgic person, it hurts me. I miss all of the old you Laurynas, i miss everything about you. Ive always felt a connection since i first heard this song 3 years ago after I met a girl whom I grew a crush on. No matter what type of day I was having, I wanted to see her, talk to her, be with her even if we sat in complete silence. I changed myself to get closer to her and to spend more time with her. To me she was next to perfect, although my friends always told me that she was just normal. Everything about her was just perfect, she was so beautiful to me. I never asked her out nor did I tell her how I felt in fear of losing her. I never thought of it as an addiction to a person, but I normally craved interaction with her. Listening to this song felt so good whenever i thought of her because it felt like I was next to her, today I searched the song name on google. "Limerence is a state of infatuation or obsession with another person that involves an all-consuming passion and intrusive thoughts." that put a whole different perspective on an almost 2 year section of my life that belonged to her. I saw her more than just a person, she was my source of dopamine, it felt like. It was all a delusion. this song felt like her, but in reality I was in a fools paradise.
