Parody feels so exhausted in the best way, not happy they're suffering but I feel in it that moment of "there's only so much empathy and compassion I can offer to this clearly damaged person before they kill me with them" in a way that feels betrayed and heartbroken more than savage to me
loved the reaction! my take on Parody is that the song is aimed at Yves themselves, as if it was written from the POV of a former loved one that sees Yves as this demented, monstrous parody of a pop star. I find this perspective even more searing than reading it as it it was aimed at someone elae, because it shows the tumultuous relationship we all have with ourselves and how a wronged third party might perceive us
I would love to see your reaction to Qveen Herby's music. However, I know it's very addictive and she will be in your head forever since you discover that gem
