YZ250F and TTR250 

If it is your first bike, id recommend the ttr230. The YZ is a lot of bike, especially the two-stroke and will require a heck of a lot more upkeep. I think the 230 will fly for your height and size.

If ur able to put some weight in like 20 pounds go with the 250 it's a lot of bike but you'll get used to it

I'm 13 years old, 5'2", and weigh 100lbs and have a yfz450 and a ttr125l and this summer I am upgrading to a yz250f

In this case, the 250 would smoke the 230. It comes down to engine compression, the ttr230 is a relaxed and reliable bike while the yz250f is a motocross high compression bike that needs lots of maintenance and upkeep

+Jack Seds I used to ride, I had a little crf70 and I'm looking to get back into it. I'm looking at the ttr 230. I'm 5'9, do you think it'd be a good bike for me, especially since I'm getting back into it? I'll probably be riding on trails and going to some mx tracks not really looking to race (yet).

I have been doing a lot of research and the ttr230 is a nice bike for trails. the yzf250 is more motocross so it is jumpy and harder to get used to so I would suggest if you are just getting back into it the ttr230 would be the right bike.

what school I get for my dad has a first dirt bike he is 6'1 and a speed demon .he also had a motorcycle before and rides my dirt bike when he can .I want to get him the yz power because were gonna be riding on street and maybe track

Donovan Schalin maybe a Yamaha Wr250f that might be what I get because the suspension is super soft on TTR's and don't handle higher speeds. From what I know, the Wr250f is kind of like a toned down Yz250f meant for a mix of terrain.
